It was a very family friendly condo and resort, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. The living room was large enough that we could leave the sofa bed open for our son and still have plenty of room in the daytime. Kim was great at communicating before our arrival and offered many island suggestions for activities and outings. The condo had great beach gear so we didn’t need to pay for rentals, and we loved the convenience of parking right outside our condo for our many outings. The only downside is that the condo is adjacent to the main road at the edge of the resort so we could hear a lot of cars at night (the windows only have wood shutters and don’t fully close). Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Great family vacation

Great property and unit. Access to beach and pool was wonderful. Poipu is a beautiful part of the island and I enjoy Kiahuna everytime I stay there.

Perfect for families!

We had the best vacation! The condo was clean and had A/C throughout. The owner was easy to get in touch with as well as the front desk. We enjoyed our stay and loved property and location! Would return in the future!

Perfect Family Getaway

The location was ideal for our family with close proximity to kid friendly beaches and activities. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and accessed almost everyday of our stay. The condo was cozy, clean, and accurately described.

Perfect place!

The condo was very comfortable, well equipped with everything, and centrally located to all the resort amenities. The owner provided valuable information prior to our arrival and was very responsive during our stay. We will definitely book this one again!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The resort is beautiful and the condo was absolutely perfect. Great selection of beach gear. Kitchen had everything we needed. Super quick walk to the beach. Kim was extremely responsive. Highly recommend!

Very nice 2-bed unit, nicely furnished and quiet.

Unit 242 at Kiahuna Plantation is a nicely-furnished 2-bedroom unit located at the top of the complex (away from the beach). It is quiet, and great for a family. Cleanliness could be improved, but overall a very nice place.

There is an on-site housekeeping staff available 7 days per week and you can always call them on the condo phone to clean whatever is not done properly. Pleasant stay

The condo was as advertised. Nicely furnished and equipped. About 200 yards to the beach. The grounds were beautiful and immaculately maintained. Access to the sports club across the street is a nice perk.

Great unit- Family of 4

This is our second stay at the Kiahuna. We enjoyed the space and the air conditioning in this particular unit a lot. Plenty of room for our family with 2 tweens. Not a far walk down to the beach or to the athletic club. Kim, the renter, provided lots of good tips and recommendations.

We had a fantastic time for our family reunion. The units that we rented were all outstanding. We don't have any negative comments:) We highly recommend staying in this unit. Everything was made very comfortable.

Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Kiahuana. The condo was great, definitely appreciate the air conditioning. It would have been a little loud at night and in the mornings if we had to have the windows open but instead it was cool and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and I especially appreciated decent pans and sharp knives (rare in rentals). We would definitely rebook!

Quick Trip for a Wedding.

My daughter's friend was getting married at the Sheraton. So the family decided to tag along. The Condo was clean and just as promised. The check-in process was quick and very helpful. The staff was friendly and our VRBO host Kim emailed with easy-to-follow directions. Thanks again, Kim!

Great location

If traveling with infants/small children, great place to stay. Appreciated the pack n play, high chair and baby gate for the stairs. Makes packing much easier. Close to the beach and pool. While close, neither are right there. If the grandparents had joined, most of them would have struggled with the walks to the beach. It was not a problem though for us with a stroller for the baby. I enjoyed the walks.

Needed more information about location and condition

What the ad doesn’t mention is that this is the furthest away from water. Two level condo with bathrooms on one level ended up forcing us up and down dark, steep steps too many times. Condo is nice layout bout dated and dirty.

I'm so sorry the condo did not meet your expectations. If you look at all other reviews, most guests give 5-star ratings and are very happy with the condo. On every communication, I sent you a resort map that shows the building is not directly on the sand, but closer to the resort entrance, and just a quick 1-2 minute walk to the beach - no need to get in a car to get to the beach! There is a photo of the stairs on the listing, so make sure you are able to climb stairs before booking - I'm sorry they were steep for you, but most guests don't have a problem with them. I wish you had told me the condo was not clean enough since we have a professional management and housekeeping department that could have gone back to clean to your satisfaction. Please let the owner/manager know when you arrive if the condo is not clean enough - I need to know if the housekeepers are not doing their job well and will always help to resolve any issues if you let me know during your stay. Hope you were able to enjoy the other parts of your holiday.
