Wake up surrounded by forest walks, wild ponies, cosy pubs, and beautiful river scenery. Spend your days exploring the New Forest, visiting nearby Bournemouth beaches just 20 minutes away, or enjoying family adventures at the famous Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World), Moors Valley, and the popular Go Ape zip wire course.
Fordingbridge itself offers lovely riverside walks, independent cafés, foodie pubs, restaurants, and a local park with an open-air paddling pool during summer months. Whether you’re planning a peaceful countryside escape or a fun family getaway, Golden Key Lodge is perfectly located for both relaxation and adventure.

Our welcoming self-contained lodge is set across two floors and designed to help guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home throughout their stay.
On the ground floor, you’ll find:
• A fully equipped kitchen with Smart TV
• A modern family bathroom
• A cosy twin bedroom with two single beds
• A comfortable double bedroom
Upstairs features:
• A spacious master king-size bedroom with Smart TV
• Ensuite shower room
• Large relaxing lounge area with Smart TV

The lodge combines quirky historic character with modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming space for both short breaks and longer stays.
To help us maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the lodge for all guests, we kindly ask visitors to remove outdoor shoes inside the property.

Guests have full private access to the entire self-contained lodge with its own private entrance.
Please note the property includes a small curved staircase typical of a historic cottage. While many taller guests and guests with reduced mobility have stayed comfortably, the staircase does have slightly lower head height than a modern property, so we like to make guests aware in advance.

The New Forest is beautiful, whatever the season. Our place Golden Key Lodge in Fordingbridge is on the edge of the New Forest making it the perfect place to explore the whole area. Its the PERFECT LOCATION. With miles of picturesque trails to explore, breath taking scenery, and a wide range of outdoor activities to choose from, the New Forest is the perfect destination for nature lovers. Whether you're looking to hike, cycle, horseback ride or simply relax and rejuvenate in the great outdoors, the New Forest has something for everyone of all ages. Popular with families and children as well as couples. Discover the unique history and culture of the area and experience the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that the New Forest is famous for. We are lucky to have this on our doorstep and Golden Key Lodge is a lovely place to which to experience all of this. Step into the New Forest with its walking trails, quaint villages and picturesque landscapes all within easy reach of Golden Key Lodge. Numerous country pubs, foodie locations and restaurants. Our local pub is by the river and has good reviews. For kids we have an amazing park with an outdoor paddling pool (from July) and kids love to wade in the river that is there too (we provide fishing nets). The other way is the Beach in Bournemouth, miles and miles of golden sand as far as you can see and only a 20 minute drive away. For kids who are fans of Peppa Pig its only a short drive away. To sum up The New Forest and Golden Key Lodge provides an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life proving the perfect combination of luxury, freedom, relaxation and adventure.

Our LOCATION on the edge of the New Forest. 3-5 minute drive and you are looking at the ponies leisurely walking around. Our level of hygiene and cleanliness of the property so you can be reassured. Our property inside has ample room for 6 people, you won't feel on top of each other and will be surprised at how much room there is when you get inside. Its 300 years old, quirky and not straight!
