About this property

Cottage #8 - Spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay on a private association beach!

Imagine yourself vacationing with all of Cape Cod Bay visible from your beach cottage deck. Envision staying high on a 70 foot dune in a historic 125 year old cottage immortalized by American artist Edward Hopper. Step down the sandy dune to a private beach for a day of fun splashing in the waves or looking for washed in ocean treasures. Then look forward to spectacular sunset vistas and an evening of star gazing with friends and family.

Corn Hill Cottage #8 is well situated for fabulous family beach vacations. The cottage's first floor kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot, and just about anything an amateur chef would need to pull together a wonderful seafood feast with family and friends. Celebrate this meal in the dining room complete with seating for 8. The downstairs living room is cozy and artfully decorated with treasures found on beach combing walks. There is a small library and games to play to help you unplug. For those who can't disconnect, a Smart TV and wireless internet is available. The cottage's front porch is a perfect place to enjoy the first sips of coffee hoping to glimpse the occasional passing whale. The second floor bay bedroom has a queen sized bed and overlooks Cape Cod Bay. Let the sound of the waves carried up on ocean breezes lull you to sleep. There is an additional upstairs bedroom perfect for children and capable of sleeping 3 on two twin beds and a trundle.

The cottage is within a short drive of many restaurants, art galleries, shops, National Seashore beaches, theater, miniature golf, and other entertainment and activity options.

This perfect beach cottage never disappoints! Thoughtfully outfitted interior, including fabulous assortment of hand-thrown pottery. We each had our favorite dishes to use during our stay. This is a place for making memories 3

Week at Corn Hill

The cottage is what I would call the quintessential vintage Cape Cod, with modern conveniences, beautiful views, great beach and friendly neighbors. The only challenge is the stairs.

Spectacular Location

Love the quaint rustic cottage, the decks, and the panoramic view of Cape Cod Bay. The private beach is a climb but really sweet. Small but very well-equipped kitchen. Walls and doors are old and thin so not much privacy for two couples but that was offset by the location, view, ocean breeze.

A true slice of heaven

This was our second year staying at Brice & Michelle's gorgeous little beach cottage and it has well and truly stolen all our hearts. It is such a special place; the views, the air, the community, the beach, and of course the cottage itself... complete perfection in it's quirky, rustic beauty. We will be back every summer, as long as they'll keep having us!! Thank you SO much for sharing your happy place with us :)

Magic!!!

This cottage (and its community) is nothing short of magic… we’re so fortunate to have discovered this gem. Its location on the cape is second to none in terms of views, the beach, and its proximity to the nearby towns. The cottage is the definition of rustic - so if that’s not your thing, then this place is not for you. But - if you understand and appreciate the pure beauty of such a rustic cottage experience, in such a historic and beautiful location - well then this place is a true and rare find. It feels like this little community of cottages is hidden away from the world, suspended in time from long ago. Our neighbors were amazing and wonderful connections / friendships were made. My children ran about freely, giggling, playing in the sand, making friends, playing games…. Adults sat on porches, grilled dinners, chatted on the viewing deck at sunset, shared food… stories, memories. The ocean breeze was the BEST, and the sunsets were breathtaking. We cannot wait to return next year, and truly hope to do so yearly. We’re so, so thankful to have discovered this slice of heaven on Cape Cod.

Lovely

After not traveling for the past 2 years, we decided it was time for a much needed vacay. When I first saw the listing for this darling cottage, I knew that this was exactly what we needed. Cottage #8 is the perfect escape, located on a cliff, overlooking the bay. It was quiet, it was peaceful, the views were stunning, and the cottage itself was absolutely lovely! The kitchen is loaded with anything and everything that would be needed to prepare your meals. The living room was cozy for family conversations and laughs. This was our first time visiting the cape, and we loved it! We hope to go back in the near future.

About as peaceful and regenerative as it gets. Perfect for a couple. Very little sound-proofing, so might not be as ideal for kids/youth.

Beautiful cottage and location.

This is a beautifully maintained cottage at an amazing location, with stunning views on Cape Cod Bay. The cottage is part of a complex of about 5 other cottages and there is a wonderful senses of community. At sunset all the visitors (or owners) meet at the deck for a chat before dinner. Sunset on the bay is always stunning. Too bad we were there only for one week. We love Cape Cod but never stayed in Truro before so we had a great experience at this property.

Magical Cabin and Beach

Our family enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our days on the beach. Other renters in this area very friendly and considerate with enjoyable conversations. Property owners responded very quickly to all our questions and the cabin is well equipped to entertain. Kitchen was easy to clean and well stocked. We would love to return.

Beautiful Cottage

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage! It was so clean, homey, and welcoming, and we loved the view from the back porch as well as the walk down the stairs to the private beach. We spent most of our time going to ocean sides beaches, but loved coming home to this peaceful place.

Lovely

We stayed in this same cottage once before under a previous owner. It was lovely then and lovely now, with some nice updates. The small, well equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Moreover, the location is stunning, overlooking the bay and sunsets, a quick drive to good food, a steep staircase down to the beach. We didn't even bother with a Truro beach parking sticker this time. Number 8 is part of a historic set of cottages. They are close together, so you have to be comfortable with the sounds of kids playing and neighbors talking. The grills and sunset viewing platform are shared. Both times we stayed, all the neighbors were friendly, respectful, and interesting. We hope to come back!

Ideal Corn Hill Getaway

Fabulous location, tidy and thoughtfully planned cottage. Michelle and Brice set up the space perfectly: comfy living room, great master BR with gorgeous view, nice second BR. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking (including coffee grinder). Nice neighbors up on the Hill, too! A perfect stay.

Just as fabulous as we remembered.

This was our second visit to the cottage and it was just as lovely as our first. It was tempting to just stay and enjoy the view of the ocean from the porch and viewing deck or to go down the stairs to the beach but we did manage to take advantage of the easy access to Provincetown, Wellfleet, the ocean beaches and the bike trails. The cottage is charming and well equipped and Brice and Michelle are thoughtful hosts and quick to respond to queries. Already dreaming of our third visit!

Historical charm with modern conveniences.

A charming cottage in a beautiful setting in an amazing location. We fell in love with the cottage and are hoping to make visiting it an annual tradition. While small it never felt cramped and Michelle and Brice have managed to keep its sense of history while adding modern conveniences. I think the kitchen is better equipped than our own! The beds are comfy and there is ample seating in the living room and dining room and while the bathroom is tiny, the shower is roomy. The view from the front porch and the viewing deck is amazing - especially for sunsets. The beach is beautiful and totally worth all the steps down - all that exercise is a good excuse to take advantage of the great local food. The travel guide and cottage information were thorough and helpful and Michelle and Brice were prompt to respond to any questions. Highly recommended.

Great location and beautiful cottage

This is a beautiful cottage in an incredible location. When I was growing up, my family would spend a few weeks on the Cape every summer in Wellfleet or Truro. This is definitely one of the best locations I’ve seen. The views are amazing and the sunsets every night are an event of their own. The cottage itself is well maintained, obviously loved, and has a nice sort of Herman Melville aesthetic. We had a great time and would highly recommend.
