Houseboats do not all have an outside decking or a good view. This houseboat had both. A nice view of a nearby bridge and some boat traffic to watch. Warm and cosy , the aircon was needed on some days and was very effective. A lovely kitchen setup , very well equipped. Good sitting room with good size tv. And bedroom quiet and comfortable.

Amazing weekend in an amazing city and staying on a house boat made it all the more enjoyable. The house is well maintained and close enough to walk to great cafes, shops, and museums. We would definitely stay again. Albert was very helpful and an excellent host!

Great stay. Albert was a lovely host. The house boat was clean, accessible, an had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The bed was lovely as was th kitchen and river view. Everything was within easy walking distance

A wonderful central location, a nicely decorated house boat, and a lovely Amsterdam experience overall. Albert our host met us at check in. We appreciated the very well equipped kitchen (including spices, olive oil, espresso machine etc). A great bakery a few blocks away - Bakhuys. We’d love to come back.

The house boat is a floating oasis of quiet and comfort in a very busy city. Very private. Every day, after exploring the beauty of Amsterdam we would return to our boat and relax with the canal to entertain us - birds, boats, jumping fish. The place was well equipped and very comfortable, warm and relaxing, great bed and nice linens, hot shower. The outdoor patio was a bonus. We loved it. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at the boathouse in Amsterdam. It was set up nice and had everything you could need. Loved being on the water. The owner was amazing and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed

Perfect location - iconic accommodation

Albert greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the houseboat. Excellent accommodations with a small outdoor patio to watch the ducks on the canal. Excellent location, central to all. Perfect stay.

Perfect Amsterdam Canal Experience

Orpheus boat stay

Albert, the host, was phenomenal from the date we booked the canal boat and all through our stay with tips and recommendations. Location allowed us to walk everywhere in Amsterdam.

Terrific Way to Feel at Home in Amsterdam

Unique, fun experience we thoroughly enjoyed. Well located, great neighborhood restaurants and fun to watch the small boats float by your window. Albert, the host, was a great communicator and made our stay hassle free.
