Large property great for groups and families who require some privacy,

This property was great for our group of 3 families consisting of 6 adults and 5 children aged 7-13. Lots of room and privacy if needed. Nice pool and outdoor space the river at the bottom of the track is great for swimming and a real bonus. Stunning views across the valley and nice villages nearby to explore. The owner Franco is friendly and helpfull. Would definitely recommend this place if traveling as a large group, our kids loved it.

Great House and Host

Lovely House in Hills. Perfect for large group. (4 apartment with separate kitchen and bathrooms). Host/owner was so helpfull and instantly had an answer og guideance on whatsapp. Nice Lake close to House for swimming.

Amazing Journey, perfect for our huge group!

Franco, the owner of the house was very nice, friendly and uncomplicated. The property was perfect, space to play outdoor games, sitting outside in the evening or hanging around at the big pool. There was everything we needed. House was clean and the three kitchen had everything we need. Wi-Fi didn’t work during our 5 days of stay, but this was not a big deal for us. We would recommend Filicaia and I wish we‘re coming back.

Totally Tuscan

We were a large family group of adults and children. The property was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly eg each family had own sleeping and living area. The setting was absolutely stunning and the swimming pool a highlight and where we spent most of our days. Check in and contact with the owner was seamless and anything we needed was acted upon immediately. We felt we had isolation in a stunning setting but not isolated as there were other properties, restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely return.

A lovely italian house in large grounds

This is the perfect place for a large group holiday - we had an incredible time. The location is beautiful with amazing countryside and walks, and lovely towns to visit nearby. The river swimming near to the villa is a real bonus - we absolutely loved jumping in off the rocks and paddling and swimming around. We were there during a heat-wave, so didn't really do much apart from chill at the pool and walk down to the river, but the large garden made it possible for all the children to run around and let off steam. The house is comfortable and feels very Italian - apart from cooking and sleeping we spent all our time outside! I am sure we will all be back.

Fabulous friends and family sharing rental

We were a mix of 2 families and grandparents, young children 6yrs - 10yrs in age range, parents in their 40's and grandparents 65 - 75yrs and this villa was accessible, worked well for the mix of needs/abilities. We had a few teething problems on arrival, a few missing bulbs and a leaking toilet but these were fixed or in hand within an hour as the owner is very close by and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were given great restaurant recommendations and all the info and support we wanted. (There's an abundance of leaflets in the ground floor lounge too). The pool and outdoor space is the absolute selling point, you might say the inside is a little quaint and it is, but the outside space is perfect. We were there 10 days and did plenty of trips out, days by the pool and afternoons in the river which is about a 5-10 min walk down the unmade track/road. I would highly recommend this villa, but the immediate village doesn't have much in the way of shops or restaurants. The next village over however is only about 3-5km away so a drive as there are no pavements to safely walk along. Book and enjoy!

Super für große Gruppen

Wir waren 6 Paare, jeder hatte seinen Rückzugsort und gleichzeitig konnten wir gemeinsam kochen und Zeit miteinander verbringen. Das Haus ist einfach ideal. Es gibt sehr viel in der Umgebung zu sehen und zu erleben. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!!

Super maison pour un groupe

La maison est très grande, sur 2 étages, donc les familles peuvent avoir leur intimité et leur cuisine. Grandes terrasses à partager et pour les repas. La piscine est top, très bonne dimension pour nager et se relaxer. Le propriétaire France est très sympathique et très disponible ! Nous avons passé un excellent moment en familles avec les enfants. La propriété se prête très bien aux grands groupes voulant partager des vacances ensemble.

Toller Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir sind als Gruppe von 4 Familien angereist und empfanden das Haus, das Grundstück und den Kontakt mit Agentur und Besitzer als sehr angenehm. Die Anfahrt von Norden her zieht sich durch kleine, kurvige Straßen und Dörfer, das sollte man bei der Planung berücksichtigen. Dafür ist man dann wirklich in einer Gegend, in der es nicht zu sehr touristisch ist und man hat seine Ruhe, in 10 Auto-Minuten Entfernung ist ein kleiner Ort mit Supermärkten, Eisdielen, Restaruants etc.. Das Haus bleibt kühl wenn man tagsüber die Läden geschlossen hält und hat alles was man für ein paar schöne Tage braucht. Die Betten sind bequem (die Schlafcouches nicht so sehr) und nach einem Neustart der Router und Repeater hat auch das WLAN wieder funktioniert. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und schaut ab und zu nach dem Rechten und half uns auch, als eins der Kinder mit Blinddarmentzündung ins Krankenhaus musste. Ein bisschen zu kämpfen hatten wir mit den Ameisen, die auf der unteren Terrasse und in den beiden unteren Wohnungen schnell ausbreiten wenn man Lebensmittelreste auf den Tischen nicht gleich beseitigt. Abends wird es recht kühl, man sollte also auch im Sommer eine warme Jacke dabei haben wenn man noch draußen sitzen möchte. Ein Highlight für die Kinder war sicherlich der Fluss, in dem man klettern, baden, angeln und Staudämme bauen kann. Hier ist man allerdings selten alleine - hier kommen auch die Einheimischen gerne her (alle sehr freundlich). Insgesamt ein tolles Haus für große Gruppen oder Familien.

Gut für große Familien, viel Platz im Innnen und Außenbereich

Wir waren eine Familie mit 17 Personen von 6-87 Jahren. Wir hatten eine gute und entspannte Zeit, Alles so wie wir uns es vorgestellt hatten. Perfekt. Der Pool und der Fluß waren die Hot Spots für Groß und Klein. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Italiaanse taferelen in onze Toscaanse villa!

Deze prachtig gerestaureerde villa is perfect voor 4 gezinnen met jongeren. Het huis is ruim en biedt voldoende gelegenheid voor privacy, indien gewenst, en de tuin en het zwembad zijn echt heerlijk. De ontvangst door Franco is alleen al hartverwarmend en daardoor voelden wij ons direct zeer welkom. De lange buitentafel, afgedekt tegen de zon, was de plek van vele momenten samen. In de ochtend ontmoetten de volwassenen elkaar in het zwembad en langzaam kwamen de kinderen dan uit bed als het ontbijt lekker klaar stond. We hebben een aantal leuke uitstapjes gedaan met als hoogtepunt ons bezoek aan Lucca, wat een heerlijk stadje. We konden heel goed allemaal onze eigen gang gaan en ook de kinderen waren met elkaar op stap, het is klein genoeg om elkaar weer makkelijk te treffen. Al met al hebben wij er een hele fijne en zeer gezellige week mogen ervaren met goede vrienden in een prachtige omgeving en voelden wij ons als goden in Italie!!
