This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, beach house is perfectly situated just minutes from downtown Encinitas and steps away from Moonlight Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance from the house - trendy restaurants, relaxing hangouts, parks, library, coffee-houses, and more. It's the perfect backdrop for a private beach escape or a family getaway.

The home features a:

Moonlight Beach has recently updated all of its facilities and it is a beautiful, family friendly beach with an adjacent green area and park. There are three sand-volleyball courts, barbecue pits and plenty of space to build your dream sandcastle, hit the surf or scan the seas for a passing pod of porpoises.

We had a great stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and has lots of space for a large group to eat in a dining room/kitchen combination. They had lots of beach toys and it’s two blocks to the beach with a wagon to carry stuff to the beach. Has a nice little yard in the back as well. We had a great stay.

A small group of friends and I stayed for a girls trip, and this was the perfect spot! Immaculately clean with all amenities we needed and a fabulous location. I'd love to stay here again!!

My sons and I loved our 9 days at this fabulous home 2 blocks from the beach. From our first communication with the owners, and throughout our stay, it felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. This rental had one of the most well-equipped kitchens I’ve encountered and we cooked at home a lot. The house comes with an outdoor shower, which is very helpful after the beach. The garage holds bikes, boogie boards, wetsuits (all for your use) as well as a washer and dryer. Tons of fresh towels for the shower and beach.The home is spotlessly clean, cozy and comfortable. The location is ideal. Close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants on the 101. There is a beautiful natural grocery store nearby and an ice cream shop. Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is a fantastic public course nearby. (Use Noteefy app to get on). I don’t know what else you could ask for. Piper, Erin and Tiffany, thank you for making us feel so welcome! Hope to come back again soon.

Fantastic location!

This property close to moonlight beach was fantastic for our young family of four. It's close to the beach and the main street in Encinitas. The property is in a quiet, safe street and is a really comfortable family home! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

great for multi-generational family stay

We had a lovely stay for some family time. The house was well stocked with cooking and beach supplies, which was super handy. The house hummed loudly when the water was running, otherwise the house was everything we could have needed and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Fun times at the beach

Had a blast! The house is steps away from Moonlight Beach. Super clean and well provisioned. Tons of beach gear to have fun with. Wetsuits were clutch.Would stay again. My cousin will be renting this spot as well.

Great Location

One of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at! Very clean and plenty of room for our family get together and being able to walk to Moonlight Beach was a definite plus! Close to restaurants and downtown Encinitas as well. We would definitely stay there again!

Great little beach house in Encinitas

Wonderful quiet getaway

Our second stay was fantastic!

This was our second time at this property and it was great again! Perfect for our family with kids - including all of the beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The short walk to Moonlight and lots of restaurants make it the perfect location. We’ll be back!

This home has been in our family since the 1970s. It has been loved and nurtured through 4 generations of family. It's our happy place. Our grandparents bought it before anyone really knew just how cool Encinitas was. We have storyboards of memories with our families on Moonlight Beach. To say it is near and dear to our hearts, is an understatement. In 2017, Erin, Tiffany and I (Piper), cousins and sisters, embarked on the adventure of keeping the legacy alive. With increasing expenses, that meant we needed to rent the house so that we could keep it in our family for our children and our children's children. It gives us great joy to share the house and to know that other people love it as much as we do.
