We would love to welcome you to this custom beach house jewel for your splendid Southern California escape. It is newly remodeled with expansive upgrades throughout, including newly installed air-conditioning! The 3-bedroom, 2 bath Hawaiian-craftsman styled home comfortably sleeps 7. Several beaches in Leucadia plus numerous restaurants and bars along Coast Highway 101 are within a short distance. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features a 9-foot island, high-end appliances, Sub-zero fridge and bar seating. A Dutch-door off the kitchen leads to an inviting covered front porch. The spacious great room has cathedral ceilings, custom cabinetry, lighting, and entertainment center complete with Sony Smart TV and built-in Sonos surround sound system. Walk out the wide sliding doors from the great room and you’re in your own outdoor living room, covered by a substantial timber frame that includes comfortable seating, lighting and a large stone hearth fireplace. Multiple outdoor living areas let you seamlessly transition from indoor to outdoor for your personal immersive SoCal experience. Each bedroom includes decorative furnishings, ample storage, and premium memory foam mattresses. Two bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The master bath includes a luxury travertine walk-in shower.

The private backyard features custom hardscape along with a built-in BBQ island. An enclosed outdoor shower reminds you that you are a few minutes to the surf! Off-street parking, a 2-car attached garage (guests cannot park in garage, but ample parking in large driveway), and full washer/dryer are included.

Great location, within walking distance of restaurants and the beach which is so nice because parking can be tough near beach. Really comfortable beds and great kitchen. Outdoor fireplace was a nice bonus! We had an issue when we arrived but it wasn't time sensitive, so just messaged Stephanie and she called right away wanting to resolve it immediately, which was appreciated.

Beautiful property close to the beach

We had a great stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a weeklong surf trip. It is only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Great family retreat

This home was one of the best equipped rentals I’ve ever stayed in. We traveled with a toddler and five year old and we’re grateful for all the baby essentials which made our stay more comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated and well maintained. We could walk to restaurants, coffee, beach and shopping but mostly enjoyed cooking and barbecuing at home.

The home was even better in person. Beds and linens were very comfortable. High end appliances. Extremely clean. Backyard space is so nice to sit out in the morning and evening. Walk to watch the surfers at the beach access on Leucadia Blvd. Walk to great restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home and property

The home and yard are well-cared for. We loved everything about it. The outdoor fire was a highlight. The space was clean, well-decorated, and well-stocked. Everything was provided in the bathrooms and kitchen to make our stay an easy one. Unlike other places we've stayed, the beds and pillows were comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better place at a more reasonable rate. Stephanie was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely recommend.

Perfect stay for Everyone

We had our family with us for our son's wedding. We had our 13 month grandson staying as well. The living room area was so spacious for him to play with toys as for all of us to be comfortable. We loved the open concept. My other 2 grandkids came to visit and loved the front grass area for playtime. The decor and amenities were spot on. Our new extended family stopped by and everyone loved the place. Through we were busy with the wedding - it was close to everything. Our SIL jogged to the beach. This really was a perfect fit for us. Thank you for sharing your home. The next time we need a place in Encinitas, we will defiantly book this home again.

Family friendly close to beach

Overall a nice property and attentive property manager. The amenities and household items provided were most we’ve seen in any rental! We were however disappointed in the cleanliness. While the general house was clean and maintained, the hvac filter was dirty which was replaced within an hour of our arrival. Then that evening we showered to find a big hair ball at the bottom of the drain. This is no fault to the property or management but really the cleaning crew. Recommend for families (single level and high chair/pack n play) along with minimal “toddler breakable” items.

Lovely beach house

Beautifully decorated and well appointed beach house just a few (uphill) blocks from great surf beach. Kitchen had everything we need included two coffee makers (keurig and drip); would have been nice to have even small selection of coffee or tea here so wr didn't have to go out for it right away but that is literally the only thing I can think of that would have improved our stay!

Great place to stay in Leukadia

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is great for access to Encinitas and all the surrounding beach towns, and easy access to highways taking you anywhere in the region. The kitchen had everything we needed. And we really enjoyed the outside area for making fires and hanging out. The only downside was the noise from the train and a toilet that stopped working (but that could happen anywhere).

From check-in to check-out, the entire process was seamless. The host, Stephanie, was always responsive and available to answer questions, although everything that could possibly be needed was included in the very detailed and thorough home guide. The home was stunning – the pictures online are amazing, but you really need to see it to believe it. Fixtures, furniture, and appliances all felt new. Everything was professionally cleaned and sanitized prior to our arrival. We truly felt like the first group to stay in this home. Although we didn't use any of the home's outdoor activity amenities during our stay, we loved that they were available to use. The home is in a great location, just minutes to restaurants, shops, and beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in San Diego. Thanks again, Stephanie!

What a delight!

This place was awesome! I appreciated so many things about this house - the decor, the outdoor spaces, kitchen, on and on. Location is great as well - easy walk to restaurants. We loved the outdoor space and hung out on the front porch in the mornings then shifting to the relaxing backyard the rest of the day. I highly recommend staying here - you will love it! It was the perfect spot for our little getaway!
