Great House!

Wonderful experience! The house is perfect and fit my family of 7 very comfortably. Close to Disney! Pat (owner) and her manager, Sharon were great to work with! We will stay here again should we return to the area!

Fantastic !

We stayed for a month in this beautiful house , everything was perfect, house very clean, huge pool area, great neighborood and location ..Patricia is a wonderful host and the local managing cie very reactive each time you need. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back

paradise found

this is just the loveliest property, well maintained, beautifully appointed and immaculate. Every amenity that you could possibly look for is here. I just hated to leave.

Highlands Reserve

Fantastic, my partner and I absolutely loved staying at this villa. Communication prior to our stay was very good. The property itself is in great condition and is more than equipped with everything we needed. We particularly loved the pool and backing onto the golf course was very private. We would certainly stay again.

Great neighborhood

House was perfect for our family. We were in town for the PGA convention and were able to play some golf right were we stayed . Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but the outdoor lanai was wonderful. Hope to rent it next year 😊

Family getaway

Fantastic property. Home was very spacious and had everything we needed. My family really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and gameroom. Great views of sunset and golf course from the screened in pool area, so peaceful and relaxing. Pat was easy to work with and quick to respond to any inquiry. Thank you for everything, my family had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Home

Gorgeous home that is great for family get together. Huge outdoor space with big pool and hot tub. Lots of extra blankets which was nice. I recommend brining things like hand soap, dish sponge, extra trash bags, all shower items as they were either not provided or very few were. Would book again!

We like to leave extra blankets in case the weather is cooler at night particularly during the winter months and we are pleased you appreciated this. for future guest information - we do supply a starter supply of cleaning items, trash bags, and a small soap per bathroom, but as with most self catering accommodation we do not supply shower and hair products. We also leave a small welcome pack of coffee/tea, milk and biscuits for a quick cuppa before you do a shop!

So quiet!

Different area to where we normally stay. Less facilities but so quiet which was bliss! Nobody overlooking you at the back, huge pool deck and just the odd golfer passing by. Pat and house manager Sharon dealt with a couple of issues very promptly. Very impressed. House is really spacious, only used 2 bedrooms but beds nice and comfy. Overall a relaxing stay and Pat is a great host. Thank you for allowing us to use your house

Dolls Girls Trip

We are all middle school teachers who after teaching through the pandemic, was in need of A Lot of Things. We thought we were going on a trip to Disney and to rest, relate, and release. The house was so comforting and beautiful, that we basically spent 5 days in the house just relaxing-1 day at Disney. The house was big enough for all of us to spend alone or together. It was stocked with everything, even a pump to blow up your pool toys:) The pictures don’t do the house justice, you have to see it for yourself. We needed a stress free vacation and this place gave us that at a 100+%. Words can not express our experience nor gratitude Thank you

Peaceful Paradise!

Wow! What a beautiful property in a beautiful golf community! We spent 18 magnificent, peaceful, relaxing days here, and never wanted to leave! My family and I were blown away by how immaculate and clean the home was. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Pat made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and that we were comfortable and stress free. Her instructions were very helpful and she was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout our stay. The home is gorgeous and very spacious...well designed, open concept, wonderfully decorated. The pool is probably the best designed in the entire Highlands Reserve community. Being able to watch golfers on the 8th hole while poolside was fantastic! We can't wait to come back!!!

Very nice house with couple of caveats

Overall, a very nice house that is located in aa attractive, accessible and quite safe location. Even with the couple of small detractors, it's a nice place to stay, especially if you're there in the summer and don't bring pets. It's a small stretch to call the house pet friendly when it has so much carpet, no fenced yard and a requirement that any seating where a pet might sit be blanket covered. Also, the mechanicals of the house could benefit from updating as turning the AC below 72 is not permitted because it'll freeze the system (the AC units in our 2 homes in the Midwest that handle summer temps typically hotter then Florida never gets set above 72) and the pool and hot tub can't be heated concurrently with a 30 minute limit on running the hot tub). Outside of those two things, I found the house great and would highly recommend it as a place to stay. We felt welcomed and comfortable during our trip. The owner was clear, kind and responsive in communicating.

Thank you for your 5* review. to address your couple of concerns to assist future guests - the recommendation of running the spa for a short time with a break before running again is to ensure that the water quality and heat of the pool is optimised as the pool heat/filter stops when the spa runs - as in the majority of vacation homes. The minimum AC setting of 72 is the norm in Florida to protect systems, we can of course adjust this slightly if need be - the majority of guests find this to be comfortable.

The house was beautiful as described. Owner was pleasant to deal with. Love the game room although wasn’t able to use it much. The AC doesn’t cool it well when it’s hot outside. Had a couple issues with the pool not being heated to temp. They did send someone out each time to check and said it was good but my guests couldn’t enjoy it either. But again the house is beautiful. Nice golf views. Very spacious.

During the heat wave Florida experienced during your stay, many AC systems struggled to keep up with the unusually high temperatures, especially in garage game rooms. The pool heat was set to the higher 90°F as requested, and the system did reach that temperature, though water can still feel cooler when body temperatures are elevated in extreme heat. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future.

Great, relaxing vacation

Everything is as advertised. The home is located at the end of a quiet cul-d-sac, so its very private. We spent most of our time relaxing in the backyard/pool area, watching golfers tee off on a short par 3 - which provided some entertainment. Awesome view each night of the sun setting. The house was very clean and well stocked. We felt very comfortable and completely at home during our stay. We have a medium size dog that we don't allow on beds or furniture, so we appreciated not seeing any other sign of previous pets either. We would definitely stay here again..

Horsburgh Vacation 2021

We were very pleased with the house both inside and out. House was very open everything was clean and we especially loved the Holiday touches!! We Loved spending time on the beautiful lanai with our two dogs Hunter and Caterina. House manager Sharon was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Come for the proximity to Disney parks, stay for the pool!!

Pics don't do the home justice. Beautiful, comfortable, clean with everything you need. Close to Publix and restaurants. Traffic to the Disney parks was horrendous. Next time we'll stay put in the home and enjoy the pool, lanai, and sunsets!

Beautiful, clean and peacefully quiet

We loved our stay here. The place was immaculate when we arrived. The pool area was the best, quiet and serene. The place really had everything we needed. Property management was responsive and very accommodating. The home itself was beautiful, bright and open. Would definitely recommend.

Overall great place. We enjoyed

Me and my friends really enjoyed. We arrived earlier and when we called the Manager let us in before the check in time, we really appreciate that. The house was clean, the pool area was great to spend your day chilling on the chairs, at the pool, spa, or playing ping pong. We went to Universal Studios, it took us about 30 min to get there. We had good communication with the property manager, answering all of our questions. Thank you so much!

The house is beautiful and very neat.

It appears the master bedroom area’s AC is not working properly. It was warm and makes sleeping uncomfortable. We found at least 2 small lizards in 2 bedrooms. This is a turn off for me not used to seeing such inside a home.

Any time you have issues with the AC always reach out to our management company immediately, it could be something as simple as a previous guest closing the vent as they were too cold!, but always be sure to get in touch to have issues such as this sorted for you. With regard to the little Gecko lizards, these are common in Florida and can sneak in when doors are left open. Again if you have issues such as this always reach our to our manager who will attend to resolve issues very quickly.

Amazing experience

This property was even better than advertised. The entire stay was phenomenal. Excellent communication with the owner and property manager made everything stress free. The pool area is top notch. I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again soon.

Great house !!

Our family of 6 stayed at the Davenport property, which was lovely. It was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and just as presented in the photos. The supplies in the kitchen for being able to cook and serve meals were abundant. We enjoyed the outdoor space very much, we couldn’t keep the children out of the pool. The pool area was very private with a great view of the golf course and sunsets. The interaction with the owners was effortless. We have already recommended the house to another family and we will definitely be reaching out to stay at the Davenport house again.
