Just 7 minutes from the centre of Les Portes en Ré and 5 minutes from Ars en Ré, two delightful villages on the Ile de Ré, come and discover this large, single-storey house with several terraces and one acre garden planted with trees and flowers, surrounded by vineyards.
Situated in the countryside, just a stone's throw from the beaches and the salt marshes, this south-facing house sleeps 12 people.
Take advantage of the two dining terraces and two areas designed for lounging and drinks or relax in a deckchair on the grass. The house is perfect if you love your privacy, you can be alone or all together without feeling like you're on top of each other.
The house is quiet, with no neighbours, but without being isolated.
Ideal for getting together with family or friends, the house is bright and sunny and boasts a very large, fully-equipped kitchen with a beautiful central island where you'll be sure to enjoy your meal.
Like the kitchen, the huge living room has a double aspect, overlooking the garden on one side and the vineyards on the other. It has several sofas and a table for 12 people as well as a fireplace, a bar with hi-fi system and a vidéo projecteur and a huge library where you can borrow any books you like.
The sleeping area, which is separate from the living areas, has 6 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 shower rooms and 3 WC. Bed linen is provided, as are towels and foutas for the beach in summer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available.
For children, there are plenty of french and english board games, table tennis, table football and croquet and pétanque balls.
The village of Saint-Clément is 500 metres from the house, as is access to the sea wall.
The village of Saint Clément is situated between Ars en Ré and Les Portes en Ré. You can reach these two villages by bike along the cycle paths to stock up on groceries at the markets or go for a swim on the famous beaches of Les Portes, such as Trousse chemise.
