FAB CHATEAU BEHIND CATHEDRAL ENTIRELY PROPERTY WITH GARDEN AND POOL

Fantastic house in the Plaza de Doña Elvira, considered the most beautiful in Seville, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral, in the Historic Barrio de Santa Cruz.
It is a whole house, with garden and private pool.
Its facade overlooks the Plaza de Doña Elvira, 2 minutes from the Royal Alcazares, in the historic center of the city.
Despite being surrounded by restaurants, bars, museums, inside is a haven of tranquility and peace, and its garden is paradise.
The property is entered through an iron gate. You access the garden and pool, and then you reach the entrance door to the Casa Grande with its imposing staircase. We reach the first floor where the kitchen, the completely independent dining room and the large living room are located. Also here is the small room for one person with their bathroom with shower en suite. Decorated with antique furniture and beautiful ceilings and moldings. Then we go up the stairs to the second floor where there are three double bedrooms with their bathrooms and the small living room where the sofa or sofa bed is if necessary. The windows of the corridor face the Plaza with an incredible light.
From the garden, attached to the house, you can access through another door to the Tower.
After climbing a spiral stone staircase, you first access a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Then you access the living room, on one side of it you have a bathroom with shower, and on the other side of the living room there is a loft where you can find the kitchen, small living area and the bedroom with two single beds where there is another small terrace giving on the street. Then by the spiral staircase we go up to the main room with en suite bathroom and wonderful views. If we continue climbing, we reach the roof from where you can see the entire Santa Cruz neighborhood, its incredible views and the Cathedral.
It is really one of the houses considered the most beautiful in Seville and unique with garden and pool in this historic neighborhood.

We were 9 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 5, and spent six nights at the house. This was an ideal property for enjoying a family Christmas holiday. The house has extraordinary character and a comfortable living room and dining room overlooking a beautiful square. It is steps from the cathedral and the Real Alcazar, in a pedestrian neighborhood with great little restaurants and shops. The only thing to keep in mind is that cars cannot reach the house, so guests have to be willing to walk a couple of minutes from the nearest car access at the Alcazar. Also, two bedrooms are up a stone spiral staircase - great fun, but not for people with mobility problems. On the practical side, there is a functional kitchen and the bathrooms have plenty of hot water although shower temperature can sometimes vary suddenly, necessitating adjustments. Elena, the host, is extremely nice and helpful about everything. She helped us find an excellent cook, Conchita Valdenebro, who delivered food to the house for meals in. We could not have had a better time! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay with a large group! 4 nights right in the heart of the city. Couldn't have asked for a better location with easy walking access to all the best sites and restaurants. It was very hot in Seville during our stay (over 110 F at times) but the AC units worked well and the pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The place is huge with lots of quirky spaces to stay that gives it extra charm. And the view of the Cathedral at night from the top of the tower is extraordinary. The kitchen is not huge but we always ate out (you are in the heart of Seville!) so that was not an issue for us. We had 2 toddlers (3 and 2) with us and they were very comfortable and happy. Elena was very communicative and helpful. If you want a large space with a pool in the best part of Seville, this is the place! We could not have been happier!

Magical Family Christmas

Our family of 13 truly enjoyed this magnificent villa in the heart of old Seville. Not only was the property spacious, private, breathtaking, walkable, but Rosario and Elena went out of their way to have it decorated for the holiday - right down to gifts under the tree! Fabulous Villa

Fabulous Grand Villa in the heart of the old city of Sevilla. Beautiful furnishings surround you, but still make it a comfortable experience. We had our family of 12 with our children and grandchildren and everyone loved it.

Amazing stay in Sevilla

This villa is spectacular and perfectly situated in the old town. A group of us went for a long weekend and we booked out the whole place. It was perfect walking distance to pretty much everything in Sevilla. The villa had plenty of space for everyone and had so much character. The pool was also so beneficial during the hot days. Wonderful stay

This fantastic property right in the thick of Old Town Seville is perfect. Bedrooms large and comfortable, very rare large outside area with pool and great communal space. One draw back was the kitchen but we weren't there to cook so didnt matter. Very easy to contact the friendly host who replied quickly was flexible. We loved our stay.

Lovely villa with beautiful views and convenient location

We had an absolute fabulous time in the villa, I wish our stay was longer, it was always difficult to decide whether to enjoy the terraces or living rooms or to go out into Sevilla. The views of the cathedral from the rooftop were the best in the city. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable and fit our entire group comfortably. It's easy to have private time away from the group, but there are enough group spaces to gather for meals or just relax.

Incredible home in the heart of Sevilla

I cannot say enough about this property! My family and I had an amazing four days in Sevilla and staying in this home was one of the highlights. It is absolutely perfect for large groups, beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained and will make you wish you lived in Sevilla. We loved not having to eat out every night and enjoyed having dinner outside on one of the many incredible patios. The property managers were a delight and so helpful. They met us at the house to show us around and answered all of our questions. In fact, we forgot a few items at the house and they were so quick to respond and shipped the items to us at our next destination. You cannot beat the location in the beautiful Santa Cruz neighborhood on a beautiful plaza within minutes of restaurants and cafes. Really its walkable to everything and the views of Cathedral at night from the home is unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!

Chateau near the Cathedral

The house was wonderful. I just have one caveat. There are many stairs. The three principal bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The other two rooms are 24 and/or 50 winding stairs up. It can be a bit of a challenge for people who are older. Our group managed, but it’s good to know ahead of time. Otherwise, everyone loved the place.

Gorgeous Villa in the Heart of Seville

My family stayed here at the end of August and had an amazing time. Rosario was an excellent host. She was very accommodating around our flight schedule- we traveled with four kids from overseas and she was more than helpful meeting us at off hours! We were very appreciative of this! The house itself is gorgeous and has wonderful Spanish architecture. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and even though we visited during a heat wave- it was 109 degrees one day, the house had air conditioning and a lovely shaded pool that we truly enjoyed. This property is truly a gem.

Perfect location!

I was in Seville with my family for vacation. This home has an amazing location and allowed for all 12 of us to stay together in the same space. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors - everything. The area was also very safe - we were close to everything. Check in was very flexible and we were welcomed by the host who made sure everything was in order for our stay. The outside areas in the house were not as nice as we thought they would be but we didn't really need to use them anyway. The one thing that was difficult was the stairs - there are many, many stairs in the main house and in the tower. There is not an elevator to carry luggage up so everything must be carried. This was an obstacle for a few people in our group. If you don't mind the stairs, I would highly recommend this house for a visit to Seville.

Fairytale stay at the Villa Doña Elvira

Pictures and words cannot do justice to our magical stay at the Villa Doña Elvira. From the location to the ceiling mouldings, everything was perfection. Tucked in the corner of the Plaza Doña Elvira, the villa is in the historic center, right next to the Cathedral and Alcázar. In the old town, the narrow streets make it impossible for cars to access. So the only downside is having to lug your bags through the cobblestone streets - but it's not far, and arriving at the villa makes it all worthwhile. Designed by the famous Spanish architect, Fernando Chueca, the villa has a private pool (too cold to use when we were there in March), several courtyards and balconies, and a tower with a spiral staircase with 83 steps leading to incomparable views of the city. The worst part was having to leave!

Incredible house, incredible location!

Our 5 night stay in the house was amazing! Bang in the heart of Sevilla, it's an ideal base to explore the city from, with the option of returning home to enjoy the peace, space and coolness of the house, garden and pool whenever suits. You are surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, shops and culture and the pool is just brilliant for R&R after taking the city by storm! We were 7 adults and 3 children, and there was more than enough space for everyone. It's worth noting that there are winding stairs involved in getting to the bedrooms off the tower but the climb is definitely worthwhile! For the generous size of the house and outdoor spaces, the kitchen is relatively small but that isn't a problem as there's no need to spend much time cookng at home when the local gastronomic options are so good. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the house for a bonanza Sevilla city break - unforgetable in the best possible way! All communications with the owner were easy and enjoyable - many thanks to Rosario!

A Dream Come True - The Royal Treatment

To say the villa is stunning is almost an understatement. It truly felt as if we had three days in our own castle and it will be time that will stay with us forever. It is in a very serene part of the old town, with beautiful rooms and views. The spiral staircase up to the tower is a bit of a long, semi-intimidating walk (especially with luggage) and not best for people with mobility issues. However, the stairs in the rest of the house were very accessible. The air conditioning in the rooms worked extremely well; somehow, the pool was cold even on a 100-degree day! The company that manages the house is outstanding! They provided several recommendations and helped secure a taxi service to the train station upon our departure. A person in our party left their prescription glasses on a taxi trip back to the bus station. Elena personally reached out to the taxi company several times to track down the glasses and is mailing them back to us in the USA. If we are lucky enough to visit Seville again I will be returning to this villa!
