🏕️ SUNRIDGE GEODOME

Sunridge Geodome is a luxury 10-metre geodesic dome set in the beautiful Yealm Valley in Devon’s South Hams.

Positioned beside the Sunridge wildlife lake and surrounded by countryside, trees and wildlife, the Dome combines the feeling of being immersed in nature with the comforts and technology of a high-end contemporary retreat.

Capacity: 1–4 guests
Pet policy: 1 well-behaved dog welcome – pet fee applies

Please note that parking is at the top of the lake hill, around 80–100 metres from the Geodome. Cars are not permitted down at dome or lake level, including for drop-offs, as the track is not suitable for vehicles and we aim to preserve the peaceful lakeside setting.

🏡 INSIDE THE GEODOME

The Geodome offers around 75 square metres of dramatic open-plan living space beneath the huge dome structure.

A vast panoramic bay window looks across the surrounding countryside and Yealm Valley, while large curtains allow you to close off the view when you want a cosier atmosphere.

The contemporary interior is designed for comfortable year-round stays, with full gas-fired central heating and an integrated air-conditioning system for both cooling and additional heating.

🛏️ SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The main double bedroom is tucked away within the Dome and has its own en-suite bathroom.

Bedding, pillows and standard bathroom towels are provided for guests using the main bedroom.

Above the main living area is the glass-fronted mezzanine den with two single pull-out chair beds, allowing the Geodome to sleep up to 4 guests.

Guests using the mezzanine beds should bring their own bedding and towels.

Both the bedroom and mezzanine have Smart TVs.

🌌 STARGAZING MEZZANINE

The upper mezzanine includes its own skylight for taking in Devon’s night sky.

The skylight can be covered when not required, while the glass-fronted mezzanine also gives an impressive view down across the main Geodome living space.

The contemporary German kitchen includes:

The private sunken hot tub is exclusively for Geodome guests and includes multiple jets, temperature control and mood lighting.

Please bring older towels for hot tub use, as chlorine and sanitiser can mark or discolour the bathroom towels provided.

For fire safety, barbecues, disposable barbecues, firepits, campfires and other outdoor naked flames are not permitted anywhere on site.

🐾 DOG-FRIENDLY

Sunridge Geodome welcomes 1 well-behaved dog.

Pet fees apply.

Please bring dog blankets to protect furniture and soft furnishings.

Dogs must not be left unattended inside the Geodome and must be carefully supervised around the specialist panoramic bay window and insulated dome panels.

The window and dome panels are specialist imported components and any pet-related damage will be chargeable.

🎣 OPTIONAL COARSE CARP FISHING

Guests staying at Sunridge Geodome may request access to coarse carp fishing on our private wildlife lake.

The lake is shared only with guests staying at Sunridge Lodge and Sunridge Treehouse.

Fishing must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.

Guests must:

✔ Bring their own rods
✔ Hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence
✔ Use barbless hooks only
✔ Not use keepnets
✔ Not swim in the lake

Fishing pass fees apply.

📶 WIFI & CONNECTIVITY

Free fast WiFi is available throughout the Geodome, allowing guests to stream, browse or stay connected while enjoying the countryside setting.

🕓 STAYS & AVAILABILITY

Sunridge Geodome sleeps 1–4 guests.

Additional guest fees apply for 3rd and 4th guests.

Short breaks are available depending on the season, usually with a minimum stay of 2–3 nights and typically 3 nights over weekends.
