Well-equipped accommodation in a truly peaceful location. Simple pleasures on offer from birdsong & the sight of hares in early evening in the open field across the lane but close enough to the coast and tourist attractions. Would happily go back again.

Peaceful location

Lovely Sharrington

Fabulous little cottage for two and a dog. Although very quiet in Sharrington it is perfectly located near Holt and all the great beaches Norfolk has to offer.

A beautiful cottage full of charm

The perfect cute cottage in North Norfolk, very handy to travel to Sandringham Estate,Cromer, Holt,Wells and Norfolk Broads with some lovely local places to eat. The owners communication was perfect and very friendly. Lovely log burner too. Will definitely return.

Beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Daubeney cottage. Robin is a fine host and she and her husband are very friendly people. The house has everything you need and you have the opportunity to sit in a beautiful sunny garden. We never heard so many birds sing. There are lots opportunities to explore Norfolk.

Christmas holiday

A wonderful cottage in a nice quiet location but within easy travel to Cley, Wells and Holkham for wildlife watching. It was clean and very comfortable with lots of lovely homely additions. Robin was very easy to contact and helpful and directions etc were straightforward to follow.We’ll certainly be back.

A happy five days..........

The property is lovely and plenty big enough for two and, of course, your family pet. No ridiculous rules for dogs either, which is a real bonus. If you do have mobility problems, it's great that everything is on one level but be aware that there is a step into the bathroom. The garden is small but, as the saying goes 'beautifully formed'. In summary, if you want a cosy cottage in quiet surroundings but ideally located to visit the coast and many of the beautiful stately homes, this is definitely the place for you!

Quiet but shady

We had expected the property to have adjacent places to sit that were picturesque and sunny. Unfortunately the Front is north facing and the back is right up against a wall. The property itself is well suited for two guests and reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately for the first time in several years I was affected by what I assume were dust mites (as that is what I know I am allergic to) in the property which led to me wheezing badly at night. It is likely that the property could do with a deep clean

I am sorry you had issues during your stay. Had you raised these concerns during your stay we would have been only too happy to address them. Whilst the cottage garden is not big, there is seating at the front which catches the sun most of the day and as per the house book, guests are welcome to use the sunny seating next to the pond.

Daubeney Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the above cottage. It was clean, tidy, very well presented and extremely comfortable, especially the bed! The complimentary bottle of wine and strawberries was a very nice touch. It was within easy reach of all the North Norfolk Holiday resorts. A very highly recommended property.
