Modern Hokie Home ~ Master on main, Va Tech, Radford, C-Burg & Tesla Charger

This beautiful contemporary open concept home is 3000 square feet. We have been serving guests in our home for the past 8 years and are excited to make our home your home when you visit the New River Valley :)

Just miles from everything including Virginia Tech, downtown Blacksburg, Christiansburg Aquatic Center, Christiansburg Huckleberry park. and all your shopping and tailgating needs. Only a walk to the huckleberry trail, the Farmhouse restaurant, and the Christiansburg Recreation Center. This is a perfect home and location for your tailgating needs, graduation celebration, or wedding party!

You will love the beautiful front porch and sunroom as well as the open-living design this home has to offer. With a gorgeous kitchen overlooking the living and dining area, everyone can enjoy the company of one another in one space. Brand new back porch with a grill and fire pit.

On the main floor there is a large master bedroom (king-size bed) and stunning modern soaking tub and beautifully tiled shower. There is a second bedroom on the first floor as well with a queen size bed and full bathroom.

Upstairs includes three additional bedrooms. One large bedroom has a queen-size bed with futon. The second bedroom has three full size beds . The third bedroom has a full-size bed. There is a ton of comfortable sleeping space for everyone! Our home will sleep 10 comfortably.

The home is equipped with a Tesla destination charger in garage . This must be mentioned prior to rental to allow for rental party to have access to . The cost is $40 for weekend.

This very warm loving home awaits your family.

******Please note we are in a family friendly neighborhood. No house parties. We ask that any travelers considering our home please know that you will need to be respectful of our neighbors and the neighborhood. No more than 4 cars are allowed (as a consideration to our neighborhood). All cars except 1 must be in the driveway. All other cars can be left at the Christiansburg Recreation Center over night just up the street.

We do an annual trip with friends and family for a tailgate and Allison made our trip seamless and we had a great time! There is a ton of space, the front and back yard are great to hangout on, and the instructions were clear and not over the top. I highly recommend staying here!!

VT Game with Family

Good house, patio, and location to VATech

We had a great stay at Allison's. The house worked well for our group of 6 adults and 5 young kids. We enjoyed the patio and the short drive to VA Tech and other nearby spots. Allison's house was well equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend with friends.

Great visit

We had a great weekend. The house was clean and ready for us. We really enjoyed the sunroom, hot tub and grill. The owner even decorated for my daughters graduation from Virginia Tech, it was a wonderful surprise. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautifully decorated with space to accommodate a large group

The home was beautifully decorated and easily able to accommodate our large group of friends and family in town for a VT game. I do wish there was more closet and drawer space. There were plenty of plates, but we could have done with more glasses and utensils for our large group. We loved the hot tub after long day!

Great Football Weekend

This home was the perfect place for our Virginia Tech football trip. The large living area and sun room was perfect for the babies to crawl around and get their energy out and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of 9 adults as well. The location was perfect where we were within a 15 minute drive of campus but far enough away that we weren't affected by the traffic and long restaurant waits that typically come with a game weekend. The host was extremely responsive and we wouldn't hesitate to book this same location again for future trips!

Family Wedding

This property was a beautiful place for our family to be together while attending a wedding at Virginia Tech. Property is well appointed with lots of space and bed room options. The back patio was used frequently. Close to grocery and restaurants. Communication with host was very responsive. Highly recommended.

Graduation house

We renewed this house for the graduation weekend. It was perfect. There was a beautiful outdoor patio where we gathered, ate Pizza, and had a relaxing evening. The rest of the weekend was very busy, so having this location just 15 minutes from VT was very nice. We appreciate the host opening their home to allow out of town parents and family to gather and enjoy the weekend.

Even more lovely than the listing

We brought in a group of 8 for our daughter’s 21st birthday at Virginia Tech, including a Thursday night football game and multiple dinners. This home lives much larger than the description, and the attention paid to the outdoor living space and fireplaced sunroom made for wonderful morning and evening time together. Allison was a prompt responder to questions, and I cannot imagine a smoother experience.

Great House, Great Location

We met up here with three friends from college and their families recently. The house is relatively new and very nice. It has easy access to 460 to get into Blacksburg. The bedrooms are good sizes and at least three of them could accommodate an air mattress if you have kids. The living spaces were very comfortable and inviting. The back porch and back yard were great for our kids. The driveway easily accommodated four cars (three vans and an SUV). The owner was great to work with and helpful before and during our stay.

Ideal for Sinkland Wedding

Our welcome basket was an extra special touch and just one of the kindnesses extended by Allison. From sharing the best local pizza (Amelia's) to welcome to a fun local gym to workout jittery nerves...every thoughful detail was appreciated! This lovely home was perfect as our base to prepare for our son's wedding...even allowing the girls from the wedding party to prepare at the dining room table. I am a hokie mom of three girls who has lived in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg Area since 1994. I graduated from Virginia Tech and then Radford University and instead of heading back north to Long Island chose to stay in Hokie Land and raise a family here!

Why they chose this property

Our home is a beautiful open floor plan home in a wonderful neighborhood close to everything!! We just moved in last month and have been putting our footprint on it to make it our HOME! The huckleberry trail as well as the recreation center are within walking distance. Christiansburg aquatic center is just a mile away. VT football is minutes from our home. Super close to all the shopping and restaurants and only a quick 5 min drive to VT campus. We are also very close to Radford University as well!

What makes this property unique

We LOVE our huge front porch, outside back yard setting, and beautiful sunroom. Sitting in the rocking chairs relaxing at the end of the day is one thing I look forward to every afternoon. Our home is the perfect home for entertaining with everything flowing into one big open room. Very clean and modern. Master Bedroom, as well as a spare bedroom are located on the first floor for those who don't like the stairs. It’s a beautiful brand new home!
