Excellent vacation in Villammare

The appartment was perfect for a week of vacation with our family. We enjoyed the warm weather and the empty beaches of early october, with local food and nice locations right next to the accommodation.

This apartment by the sea was the most comfortable, well prepared, and fulfilling of my needs that I have stayed in in many years. I love using VRBO and this property is one of the reasons why. A stunningly clean, spacious, perfectly renovated centuries-old building is my dream Italian apartment. Cooking my own meals is a must and this kitchen was ready for me. It was stocked to meet my American expectations of a kitchen while still feeling Italian. The washer and dryer were a welcome bonus. I visited at the end of October so the small town of Villamare was peaceful without being isolated. Cafes, grocery stores, restaurants, and gelato all withing two blocks. Should I even mention that the beach is 12 steps outside the front door? I swam in the crystal clear water every day and was comfortable even the day before Halloween.

We loved our stay at Cilento Apartment so much! We got the number for Stefano (the loveliest taxi driver) and were met at Sapri train station. It was a quick 8-10 min ride and we were greeting by our hosts. They showed us how things worked and handed over the keys to the lovely apartment. We were very comfortable in the home and found everything we needed. The best part for us was the town of Villammare. The bakery next door had the best fig pastries I have ever eaten in my life! Everyone is so friendly and the views are spectacular. Already trying to figure out how to come back.

The location of the apartment was outstanding, within steps of the beach. The apartment was beautifully renovated, confortable, and with all amenities. Our host was very accommodating of our late arrival and welcomed us to the apartment and offered tips on nearby places to eat. He was available for our questions and kindly meet us upon departure to wish us a good trip back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Hidden Gem

This apartment does not disappoint!!! Everything was perfect. From the moment we checked in we were in love with the apartment, the location and the people. You are literally right across the street from the beach. We spent 18 nights getting to know this beautiful little town. Alessandro and Stefano were perfect hosts. They were only a phone call away for any information or requests. We cannot wait to go back again. Already planning our next stay!!

Exactly what we needed!

The place was very accurate to the listing, stunning and very comfortable. We travelled Italy for 5 1/2 weeks and this was one of our last and longest stays intended for more relaxation and less touristing. It was perfect, a small local scenes, a great cafe next door, some local food options and steps to a beach which was pretty quiet at this time. Sapri is slightly larger and an easy bike ride or drive, expanding the local options. Stefano was super responsive and quite pleasant. We would gladly return on a future trip. Know before you go; this is a small coastal town and a place with a thick wall construction. Local internet was by satellite and signal in the bedrooms is weak or non existent. This did not affect our stay we just enjoyed the place and we’re outside as much as possible but set your expectations accordingly.

Grazie mille - a presto
