Bright apartment with pool, Garajau IV

The Garajau area is known for its calmness and proximity to the sea. Located between the city of Funchal and the airport, it has several services and restaurants close to the property.
This apartment was completely renovated in 2020, enhancing all its brightness and space. It offers two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a private bathroom, the other with two single beds. Using the sofa bed in the living room, the apartment has a maximum capacity of 6 people.
Another spotlight is the balcony for you to relax and enjoy the sun. The apartment has a place in the park of the building that you can use for free.

AREA
In the Garajau area you have easy access to several restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There is also a beach ten minutes walking distance and a small trail for your morning walks, right next to the Cristo-Rei monument. Renting a car at the airport can be a good option to discover the island at your own pace.

You can also choose to relax in Garajau by walking its residential streets, going to the beach or reading a book.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

You have access to all areas of the property.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION
We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz.
All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.

Comfy place

Garajau was a nice place to stay. It has good location, parking and the place overall was good. Decio was really kind and professional when we met him at check-in.

Great place to spend time in Madeira island.

We spend week in this apartment. Apart from some small damages in apartment it was pleasure to be there. Location is great, view to Atlantic is amazing. Very comfortable good equipped ( oven, microwave, induction, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc). Very good check in. Parking place in underground parking - very useful in this area. Location is also great, shops, restaurants, cafe, bakery etc. Highly recommend.

Great communication and very helpful hosts

We were travelling around Madeira and this was our last stop so we chose a location near to the airport. There are plenty of cafes bars and two good but small supermarkets very close by, this was ideal for us as we did not have a car. The apartment was super clean and the hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful, organised a taxi for us back to the airport. Just be aware that the noise of the road is quite load if you were to have the windows open, other than that it was a great location and perfect apartment.

Wir haben das Apartment mit 4 Personen für 2 Wochen gebucht und unseren Urlaub sehr genießen können.Die Ausstattung ist gut und Probleme wie ein defekter Duschkopf und eine defekte Duschkopfhalterung wurden umgehend behoben. Super Service!Ein Bäcker/Bistro und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind nur ein paar Schritte entfernt und mit dem Auto ist man in einer 1/4 Stunde in Funchal.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent location with a great view!

We stayed at Garajau IV for two months, as we looked for an apartment to buy on Madeira. It's all about the view and this one has it. 180 degree views of the water, easy access to the bus, grocery stores, and restaurants, and very centrally located to access either direction on the island. We liked being in that area, rather than right in the hustle and bustle of Funchal. I highly recommend this apartment.

Fully-equipped cozy apartment with amazing view.

The stay was pretty much cool and we liked the apartment a lot. It's located in a nice condo building with private access. Underground parking with an allocated slot was a major advantage. The hostess (or the lady who checked us in) was polite, helpful and very friendly. The apartment itself is very spacious, well-renovated and fully equipped. There was even a separate room with a washing machine and drying racks. The best part is probably the ocean view. All in all, highly recommended. The only drawback I could remember was that the humidity in the apartment was quite high (not sure if it's the ventilation issue or the common local peculiarity).

Appartement spacieux et confortable à 10min de Funchal

Idéalement placé pour découvrir Funchal et les randonnées de Madère, cet appartement très confortable est plus grand que sur les présentations web. Tous les commerces sont à proximité. La résidence est familiale, tranquille. L’appartement possède une place de parking couvert facile d’accès.

The apartment in reality is bigger than it seems in the pictures. It's very nice, clean and well-equipped. The possibility of spending time in the swimming pool patio area is also a plus, especially with the curfew.
