The whole experience was amazing. Frederica arranged transport for us from the airport and met us at the apartment. She had provided a thorough welcome pack and showed us around. The apartment is huge and has everything you could possibly want. It’s beautiful and very well looked after. Frederica is lovely and extremely helpful. It was very relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea. Supermarket and nice restaurants close by as well as a bus stop for bus into Funchal. I highly recommend staying there.

Stayed over New year for several nights, had brilliant view of some of the fireworks and of the sea from the balcony, everything you need is within a short 5-10 minutes walking distance and it's only a 20-30 minute drive from the airport. Frederica is a wonderful host, who responds quickly to any messages and provides anything additional that's needed. The apartment is immaculately clean and very well equipped, a bonus for anyone who likes to cook their own food or has additional dietary needs. The secure underground car parking and lift was a godsend (my son required crutches having sprained his ankle), as was the memory foam mattress which helped him to sleep more comfortably. All cleaning products, some cupboard foods including tea and coffee was really helpful, as was meeting Frederica who welcomed us to the apartment and provided extra information to support our stay. The welcome pack of fresh fruit and other provisions was a lovely touch. Thanks again for providing a wonderful experience Frederica, obrigada

Great stay

We were very happy with the condo. It is spacey, clean, lots of windows and my favorite balcony with an ocean view, perfect for the morning coffee. Frederica was very accommodating, friendly and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked and we had a nice surprise of welcome started kit of coffee, fruits, bread, ham and cheese which greatly appreciated after long travel day. Location was great for us too.

The host made us feel very welcome and arranged the transfer to and from the airport for us. There was also a very generous and thoughtful gift of essential provisions including a bottle of wine. So very kind. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The balcony made sitting and watching the sea a lovely experience. There are so many restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk and supermarkets too. Great transport links with bus stops just outside the apartment block, although the flip side of this is some road noise at times. Safe parking space should you need it. Lots of places to sit in the very spacious apartment and being on the top floor gave it an airy feel too. It felt like home from home.

First visit to Madeira

Superb apartment, very spacious with comfortable furniture and every facility to make it home from home. Location was perfect, bus stop just outside the property the service was very frequent. Supermarket and restaurant a short walk away. Frederica couldn’t have made us more welcome, she answered queries immediately and made excellent suggestions to make our stay memorable.

A Fabulous Find!

This apartment exceeded my expectations. The kitchen had everything required to prepare both a simple or a complicated meal. The balcony over looking the water is wonderful after a day of sight seeing or hiking. The check in process was a breeze as Frederica met us at the apartment & we were able to immediately park our car in the underground parking lot. The beds are soft, which I don't care for, but others may find that just fine. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Do it!!

The Place to Stay!!!

The host is amazing, a great communicator and she also provided us with a fantastic welcome package of food and drink!! The location of this beautiful, roomy, homey flat cannot be beat. We were able to walk to so many places. Bus transportation was also right there near the apt.. Will stay there again for any future trips if it is available. Only able to rate up to five stars but if able I would rate our stay a 10+.

Great stay in Sea View Apartment

We had a wonderful stay in Frederica’s apartment . One of the best I have stayed in . It is a very spacious apartment and two couples could stay there very comfortably. Frederica had added a lot of little touches to welcome us which was greatly appreciated. The bus into central Funchal was 20 meters from the door so really easy lots of restaurants on the lower level streets and a lovely bakery for morning coffee and breakfast. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay in this open, airy flat. It’s incredibly spacious—with two bedrooms and two bathrooms—making it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Madeira. The natural light pours in, and the layout feels both cozy and expansive. One of our favorite features was the stunning ocean view from the balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast and snacks at the little table while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.The kitchen was a dream: fully stocked with every appliance and gadget you could possibly need. Whether you’re cooking a full meal or just making coffee, it’s all there. The flat was very clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras—books, card games, and flyers about Madeira. There were several TVs available, but we didn’t end up using them—too busy enjoying our beautiful surroundings. We also had our own parking spot in a safe, secure garage, which made coming and going incredibly easy.Communication with the host was excellent. Fredericka was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home.Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, space, and a touch of local charm in Funchal.

We chose this lovely apartment beacuse of the seaviews, south facing large balcony, the luxury of space this 2 bedroom apartment offers and the fact it is so peaceful. The neighbourhood is friendly and safe, and its a nice place to call home.
