Come enjoy the beautiful southern Oregon coast at this spacious three bedroom/three bath house perched on ocean front property, just south of the Brookings Harbor, Brookings, OR. It has an expansive deck that invites sunbathing, with private stairs (with built in viewing seats as you ascend/descend) leading down a secluded driftwood strewn beach. At low tide, enjoy an easy stroll along the beach (sea shell hunting and tide pools galore) all the way to the harbor jetty, only about one mile away.

Our oceanfront home offers a large great room with a huge hand-crafted stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling ocean views, game/card table, and bumper pool table. Renovated kitchen with brand new custom cabinets, granite counter tops, tile flooring & backsplash, and all new stainless steel electrical appliances. The 'Captain's Quarters' or master bedroom/ocean view has one King, the 'Crews' Quarters' bedroom/ocean view has two Queen beds, and the upstairs room (limited view) has four twin beds. Each room has its own private full bath.

Spend a weekend, a week, or a month listening to the roar of the ocean as you fall asleep and wake up to the view of bright blue waves crashing on the rocks of the beautiful southern Oregon coast. Nearby you can enjoy shopping at the Brookings Harbor Mall shops, go bike riding on the Oregon Coast Bike path, visit/hike the Jedediah Smith State Park, or try golfing at the new Salmon Run Golf course. Spectacular view

The view was amazing. The house was on a cliff overlooking the ocean with white water views. There are tide pools in walking distance and the rocks in the water make a picturesque view. The stairs to the beach are sturdy and well constructed. We made it down easily, but it is steep. The deck was really amazing. The house was comfortable and clean. Will stay here again

Very Happy With This Stay

We loved the home and the location. My only issue was contacting the "HOST" in my VRBO email folder. 3-4 days before our trip I emailed the host 3 times and they never responded. So then I called the number they left me last month when they didn't respond. I left a voicemail message but no calls :( I have been using VRBO for 15+ years and never had the host ignore my messages :( Also you need to update your home information. When we booked it had a gas BBQ. But when we arrived it wasn't there. We did find a propane tank in the garage and bought some charcoal so we could bbq our food. The home itself was absolutely amazing and contacting the property manager via their numbers they left were very good when I called.

Aug 2923 Stay In Harbor, OR

This was a beautiful, quiet location and a beautiful property with plenty of space to stretch out for the 5 of us. We used this location as a somewhat centralized location to visit redwoods, beaches, Crater Lake, and other site seeing opportunities. Was easy to get to. Tasty food nearby. And we even went to the pound one day to buy prawns, fish (steelhead and tuna), and some calamari steak. The kitchen was more than suited to do this with a great working dishwasher for cleanup. Beach at the property was right down a set of stairs and there was a lot of beach to explore. Waves sounded all night and you could open doors and windows up during the day to get a nice breeze thru the house. We thoroughly enjoyed to cool fresh air.

Beautiful Brookings/Harbor

We come to the Brookings/Harbor area once a year. It's one of our favorite places in the world! We've stayed at a few Vrbo properties over the years but this one is pretty spectacular. The views are just absolute amazing! I mean stunning! The house is cozy, but large and the teen boys loved the upstairs room. The bumper pool table was also a huge hit with them.The bathrooms and kitchen are recently remodeled and look great! Beds are very comfy too! Overall it's a great house. I think if the interior wooden walls were painted white it would really brighten up the house..just a suggestion. The stairs to the beach are a trek but the beach is worth it. We collectively agree that we love this place and will be back to stay again!

Wonderful house!

We arrived at the house at 4 o’clock. Our check in time and the housekeeper was still cleaning, but was very nice and we were able to kill some time and head straight down to the beach. Even though they were 88 steps to get there, it didn’t seem like it and the beach was spectacular. The house was Nicely decorated and the bathrooms were newly remodeled. We wish that we had booked one extra night because the weather was perfect and the views from the house were spectacular. Very kid friendly, and the kitchen was stocked with everything that you needed. I will definitely be coming back for another vacation

Nice beach house!

We really enjoyed the stay. The deck view, ocean waves noise, and stairs down to the beach were amazing. Lots of nice homie touches in the home. It's an older home with radiant heating, some missing window coverings on non-bedroom windows, but nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. One of the beds in the loft is of poor quality, but only a concern of you plan to use all the beds.

Heaven on the Coast

This is our second time staying at Pelican Path, and we enjoyed it even more by adding an extra night! We watched the moonlight on the water before bed and woke to coffee and misty moisty mornings. So enjoyable.

Piece of heaven

What a wonderfully relaxing escape. The views are unbeatable, from Crescent City and Battery Point to the south, St. George Reef Lighthouse on the southwestern horizon, and Brookings to the north. The very secluded beach is magical with mini waterfalls, piles of driftwood, and tidepools aplenty. House is very well appointed and stocked with games, cards, puzzles, books, and fascinating journals from years of hosting. The remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful while the rest of the house retains its warm, vintage vibe. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we look forward to returning this fall!

Awesome ocean sounds and views!

This was the perfect beach house for a girls trip! We did morning hikes, walked the beach in the afternoons and relaxed on the deck in the evenings. It had everything you could need and was very clean. We had an amazing time . Will be back!

Amazing house

This place is incredible. Better than expected as far as amenities, design, and space. The bedrooms all had their own areas and bathrooms, the kitchen was very well stocked, the living area was spacious and comfortable, and the views...WOW. Unfortunately, the house had not been cleaned when we arrived, but the property manager was responsive, and my cleaning fee was refunded, as we ended up cleaning everything before we settled in. Otherwise, our stay was fantastic.

Would not rent this property again.

I rented this property because the furniture looked comforable and my husband would not have to cliimb stairs. The nice furniture was totally broken down. I found out why the owner did not show pics of bathrooms: for the bathroom off the bedroom with 2 double beds, the toilet was behind the door in the laundry room. the bed in the main captain's room is very broken down as well. Many things did not work: the light switches, the power surger, etc. Overall, a very disapoiting experience.

Secret heaven

Wow - we love this place and did not want to leave! The view, as everyone has said, is beyond words. The house has an old cozy cottage vibe with pelicans galore and is the perfect place to unwind and be together as a family. There were some great details provided - lots of cooking gear and a full spice rack (which so many vacation homes often don’t have) and sand toys for the kiddos & v comfy lounge chairs for the deck (both in the garage). And bumper pool is a new family fave now :) The beach is magical and peaceful for collecting rocks and exploring tide pools. And so private - we maybe saw 6 other people the whole time. This place has truly set a new bar for our family gatherings! Thank you for such an amazing stay! We will come back for sure 💗

The view is BEYOND amazing!

Before I even opens the front door my jaw dropped! I could see a glimpse of the view and it was perfection. I went straight to the back and it just got better. The stair access is directly off the porch. It is about three flights down but worth the cardio if you you can do it. The low tide gives plenty to explore no matter what your age! The house is a nice size for family gatherings. It is clean but out dated. I would say it has never been updated, except for the kitchen, in 30 plus years. None the less a great spot! We will definitely be back. Relaxing and enjoying the ocean air. Location and view makes this place worth it all!

We are an active family now living in California but spending our free time at our family beach house on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.

Why they chose this property

Our family was originally from the Medford area and we grew up vacationing at the Oregon coast. The appeal of the southern Oregon coast keeps us dedicated to vacationing here. We don't feel there is a more beautiful coast line and it has none of the California crowds. It is also close to several nationally recognized redwood forests and to the renowned wild and scenic Rogue River. So we get it all...ocean views, beautiful redwood hikes, and lots of river adventures!

What makes this property unique

We think you will agree, our wonderful beach house really showcases the Oregon coast in a memorable way. Because it sits out on a bluff overlooking the ocean below, you loose sense of any other houses surrounding you - it is just you and the ocean views. The house offers one of the largest decks, with tons of room for your family and guests to sprawl in the sun overlooking the Oregon coast. Our private staircase leaves directly from the deck and takes you straight down to the sand. The house is located only about 1 mile from the harbor, which keeps you close to the town and restaurants. In fact, at low tide you can walk the length of the beach to the harbor for some ice cream! Lastly, with our 3 large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, we can offer your family and friends plenty of private space too! There are very few places where you can actually fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves; this is one of them! Come experience the Oregon coast first-hand!
