This house is in the heart of beautiful Punta Gorda Isles, located on a quiet street. It overlooks a spacious greenbelt with rolling, manicured grass and many trees. And, it has quick access to Fisherman’s Village, downtown Punta Gorda, many restaurants, and shopping.

Punta Gorda Isles is a waterfront town, known to be one of the best small towns in America. This is a great boating community and has many quiet streets and paths for bicycling.

AIRPORTS: Less than 45 minutes to Regional South West Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers or less than 2 hrs to the Tampa International Airport (TPA). Fly directly into Punta Gorda Airport (5 miles minutes from house), via Allegiant Air or Sun Country.

RENTAL CAR: Enterprise, Hertz and Avis are located in Punta Gorda area or at the Airports.

SHOPPING: Less than 5 minutes to Fisherman's Village with lots of charming shops and waterfront restaurants. Several restaurants within a few block walk; many more a 5-10 minute drive away, plus shops, banks, and grocery stores.

Isles Yacht Club: The Isles Yacht Club has seasonal / short term memberships available. The Yacht Club hosts fine dining, many functions/clubs, a gym, a pool and docks. It has reciprocity agreements with many other Yacht Clubs.

GOLF: Closest is a private golf course St. Andrews South Country Club; long term guests can obtain memberships.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a Florida waterfront community that had all the necessary conveniences but offered a break from the hustle and bustle. Punta Gorda seemed to offer just the right combination: restaurants / businesses / recreation you can walk/bike to, with even more options available within a 5-minute drive. Go a bit father to find malls and every store/restaurant you could want.

What makes this property unique

On a trip to Punta Gorda to shop for real estate, we happened to stay at this property. We loved the layout and all the thought that went into its design. While viewing other homes, this property became our standard of comparison. Then we learned this home was for sale. While we had planned on buying something on the water, we ultimately chose this home because of the greater privacy and serenity it offered -- for a TRULY peaceful & relaxing respite, with easy access to restaurants and other activities, when desired.
