Relax with smart TVs (Direct TV/HBO), Blu-ray, Bluetooth speaker, and a game chest. Two master suites with en-suite baths plus a twin-bed third bedroom. Enjoy outdoor dining, a Viking BBQ, and a 70’ canal dock with 12-ft draft, bait freezer, and ice maker—perfect for the ultimate Florida Keys getaway.



The Space:

Words can't describe the beauty of this newly built 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom canal home with a private pool!  Welcome to La Casa Iguana, where attention to every detail for the perfect Vacation has been put in place. This rental home boasts a stocked gourmet kitchen with a Viking gas stove, hood, and a Thermador refrigerator. Smart TVs in all bedrooms and living room with Direct TV and HBO. Living room TV area has an abundance of entertainment for every guest.  There is a Blu-ray player, a Bluetooth speaker to connect to your own music, and lastly a game chest with a variety of Board Games to choose from. The two master suites are identical with en-suite baths and large rain shower heads. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a full-hall bathroom with shower. Outside you will find a Viking BBQ grill, two dining areas and a large pool with shallow area sun deck. The pool has heat for winter and a chiller for hot summer days. There is a 70 ft dock with water... 30 amp shore power available for an additional $50 per week (please request at booking if needed). The canal has 12 foot draft. Fishermen who enjoy the waters in Marathon, FL will love the bait freezer and commercial ice maker. There are outdoor security cameras for your safety.

Fun family fishing compound

Conveniently located and completely updated property with all the amenities one could want in a fishing retreat or for a fun family weekend. It was a beautiful place we had a wonderful time.

Family Oasis!!

La Casa Iguana was great! Having 2 master bedrooms with onsuite was so convenient as well as a full bathroom in the house. The pool was huge and shallow end perfect to relax! The chairs were comfortable and rolling coolers to make for the best pool day, and a bathroom poolside. We were lucky and got to see manatees on two different days. The house was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and all of the chairs, beds, and linens did not disappoint. Great location to publix, sombero beach, and restaurants. We would love to come back!

Pool area was perfect for everyone

We had a wonderful time! The living space was great for 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking and grilling. The pool area is awesome. We spent most of our time here. It even had a bathroom so you did not have to climb the stairs to the living space. It is a great location to attractions, beaches and restaurants. The only thing I would recommend is updating one of the king mattress and bed pillows. Thank you Island Breeze for all the information with check in/out and places to go during our stay.

Family Fun Vacation

Loved the house overall. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were very roomy. Plenty of space to gather together. Our favorite part was the downstairs/pool/dock area. Ice machine was a big hit and loved having a freezer downstairs too. A note- no bathtub available. Made it a little challenging with our 17mos old granddaughterr.

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful, tranquil and very rejuvenating. Had a much needed family vacation with our four young adults. They loved the pool! We snorkeled at Sombrero light house, fished the seven mile bridge and enjoyed the fireworks under the stars! The best display I have ever seen. We had one issue while staying and someone was out to fix it within two hours! Very impressed with the property and manager. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve rented many properties in Marathon over the years, and this home was by far the best of all of them. The house and grounds are extremely clean, and the kitchen is a gourmet chef’s dream. The attentiveness of the management company is superb. Although the weather didn’t exactly cooperate with us for boating and fishing, we still had a wonderful week with lots of gourmet meals prepared in the spectacular kitchen and served at the fabulous dining table with the handy lazy Susan. The linens were nice, and the beds and seating were very comfortable. We will definitely return!

Perfection!!!!

Perfect is an understatement. The pool, the ice machine, the rolling coolers, the beautiful landscape made for perfect pictures, and the canal with the lights the owners thought of EVERYTHING for a perfect vacation. The kitchen has everything you could dream of needing and more! The bathrooms with the rain shower heads were dreamy! The sweet owners were a delight to work with. I promise this place will not disappoint!

Lovely Key House

House and amenities were top of the line - this house had everything! We loved the location on the canal and also the pool provided hours of fun for kids and adults. We saw lots of fish, iguanas and manatees without having to leave the property. The only downfall on the house was the proximity to the strip mall; you could hear the reversing mail trucks and garbage trucks early most mornings. With that being said, the early mornings did not stop us from having a great week away.

Duex at La Casa Iguana

This was our second time staying at La Casa Iguana. Our first experience was so great we wanted to stay here again. We love the location and the house is perfect for 2 couples. This experience was a let down. The house was not clean. Apparently the previous renter had dogs and there was dog hair everywhere. The house was not as clean as the first time we stayed so we cleaned the house and pool the first day and turned our vacation around. Hopefully the next time things will be different...

Perfect summer vacation!

It’s not too often your VRBO is better in person, this property exceeded our expectations. Our group of 6 had a wonderful time! The house had all the amenities needed and much more. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rain showers … AMAZING!!! The location was perfect and the backyard scenery was beautiful and relaxing. We were not bothered by the post office noise that was mentioned in several reviews. Do not let that deter you as it is very peaceful with an empty lot on one side and a vacation home on the other. We thought about what we would add to this house and the only thing we could come up with was rock speakers by the pool. We launched our boat at Ocean View Marina which is a two minute drive from home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We will be back again soon.

This home is beautiful, clean, and has everything you could ask for. Any issues were resolved quickly. We had a fun Christmas holiday. We were within walking distance from Kmart, and Publix. Nice beaches are close by, just a few blocks away. We saw curious Iguanas daily, and even a Manitee floated into our canal. The grandkids loved it. We took a charter boat fishing half a day and caught 40 fish, 38 of which were keepers. The youngest granddaughter "skunked us". We were just an hour away from Key West and took time to visit there also. We headed to Orlando Saturday for 2 days in Disney, before we headed back into the freezer. I did not want to leave. Come on Powerball!!!!!!!!

Summer Vacation July 4th

Where do I start…this place is beautiful! We have stayed a bunch of places and this is one of our favorites. We brought our boat the dock was perfect and close to the ramp. The pool was refreshing and we all loved the cute bathroom. One of our absolute favorites was the ice machine and those coolers were the BEST!! Trust me use them they kept our drinks cold for 2 days. Honestly the owners went all out the kitchen is fully stocked with everything the only thing we had to buy was some cheap plastic containers. It is in the perfect spot close to grocery store, deli, liquor store, and gym. I read people complaining about the post office trucks beeping early in the morning we brought our sound machine and it blocked the noise. If you are bringing your boat it’s in the perfect spot the harbor has great restaurants and gas. We enjoyed going through the harbor if you want a short cut go to the left it’s quicker. We will definitely be booking again.
