Excellent property. Great location, perfect accommodation and everything that we needed for our family long weekend. Great number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the the space for adults to relax and feel spacious. Only one tiny quibble - number of mugs in the kitchen. Mugs notwithstanding, it was a real home from home. Thank you so much.

Loved our stay!

We loved this property - beautifully updated kitchen , the garden and the many amenities. It has a great location close to everything. The owner had “ happy birthday” greetings for me upon our arrival. We’d definitely want to stay here should we return to the Cotswolds.

Great Place to Enjoy the Cotswolds

We had a lovely time at the home. It was decorated for Christmas, spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. The High Street of Bourton on the Water was steps away with its delightful shops, pubs and scenic bridges. A perfect place to stay!

Property was clean and suited our group of 9 well. Living room, adjacent additional room and garden were a bonus and allowed kids in our group to play outside. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with appliances. The laundry room was a godsend as we had been traveling for almost a week prior. Proximity to the town (walking distance) allowed us to enjoy the town center, interesting sites (Birdland and motor museum), pubs and sumptuous bakeries. We used the house as a base to visit surrounding towns/cities (Chipping Camden, Morton, Stow, Cirencester and Stratford). All in all, we were very pleased and would consider visiting again to explore more surrounding areas.

The house was exactly as described - cozy, well-appointed, very clean, and an excellent location in the village. We very much enjoyed our time there and encourage anyone wanting to explore the Cotswolds to do so from this lovely home.

Perfect home base in the Cotswolds

What a well-kept home in an ideal location. Our multigenerational group was spoiled for choice on days we stayed local to Bourton-on-the-Water. It was also a centrally located town for day trips — so much to do and see within a two-hour drive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home away from home

My family of four had a truly wonderful stay in this large home. The location was perfect (in town, but private), and the home is quite spacious. Everyone could spread out when they wanted privacy and then come together in one of the many reception rooms when they wanted to visit. The kitchen and laundry made our stay that much more convenient. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this property!

A lovely well equipped and well located property.The only downside is the directions to locate the property is slightly wrong. We spent some time annoying the nearby neighbours trying to locate it. The directions was 2nd on the right after the cafe. In reality it is the 4th house on the right. Use of What3Words would have been better. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Great break from London!

Delightful stay in the country. Beautiful location and walkable to everything in Burton-on-the-Water. Everything was very clean and the house was very well stocked. There were lots of small touches that improved the stay. Garden was beautiful. Communication was easy. The only hiccup was using google maps to find the property. It took me to the wrong house down the road. I was able to find the name on the house but the number was not helpful. Did not detract from stay at all! Loved our time.

Beautiful house in amazing location

We were a family of 7 adults 3 children and a dog and we had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is absolutely amazing a quiet road 2 minutes from the village centre with lovely quaint shops pubs restaurants and loads of things for the children to do. Model village and birld land an easy walk and loads of fun. We didn't need to use the car at all! Beautiful country walks from the property and the village is so pretty at night. The house was perfect with a fully enclosed garden the dog had a great time exploring, very warm and clean, amazing kitchen and bathrooms, so much room to spread out and lots of comfy seating and dining areas. Large driveway and lovely welcome pack and all the supplies that you will need. Everything was thought of like dishwasher tabs and clingfilm! Towels provided and super comfy beds! The host was brilliant with answering questions and recommendations and secure lock box check in. Perfect property in the perfect location for a family get together and we can't wait to come back!

What a fabulous property and host ... From start to finish great communication for our family stay, for a family wedding in The Cotswolds. Nothing has been too much trouble to accommodate . The property itself is absolutely lovely with plenty of room, ensuite rooms and a great driveway for parking up to 4 cars easily, this house is very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need, lovely and clean, great secure garden and great location right in the heart of Bourton on the water.We would love to return one day and would recommend this property in a heartbeat.

Wonderful stay in the Cotswolds

Our family of 7 stayed at this beautiful house. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding, cozy towels, well stocked kitchen. The house was nicely furnished and a very convenient location to explore the Cotswolds. Communication was excellent. When we had trouble with the heating, it was fixed straight away. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

New Year Break

Excellent property in a great location. Well equipped and clean. Would suggest a boot room or access to utility via a side door as walks extremely muddy during our stay. Lovely secure garden. Chinese takeaway in the village Bamboo Villa not recommended and the chip shed highly recommended along with other cafes, restaurants Will definitely be returning

Relaxing Space to Spend with Family

Our family met here for a before Christmas getaway. Everyone had a fabulous time. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed and they even left us Christmas crackers set on the dining room table. Very walkable to all Bourton on the Water has to offer. Would stay again! Thank you

A lovely Chilled Out Break

The house is beautiful, perfectly positioned in the centre of town. The house was fully equipped for our stay, very comfortable, homely, spacious and decorated for Christmas. The owner was very quick to respond to our queries. Bourton-on-the-Water is a lovely town and this was a perfect setting for our long weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
