Book your escape to Spirit Hill Farm! It's the perfect place for a family vacation or a friend's getaway. The property is close to restaurants, dining, the beach, wineries, and art. We're just 10 minutes from downtown Sebastopol and less than 5 minutes from downtown Graton. We are also close to Santa Rosa, Occidental, Russian River, Bodega Bay and Healdsburg.

The whole point of renting a house instead of booking a hotel is so your group can hang out together. While everyone always ends up in the kitchen, Spirit Hill Farm offers many alternatives, indoors and out. At any moment you might find yourself around a table, a fire pit, a bocce court, the hot tub or the pool. During your stay you are welcome to pick vegetables from our beautiful garden or gather eggs from our "girls" in the chicken coop.

Built in 1909 by early settlers of Green Valley, Spirit Hill Farm is one of the oldest continually working farms in the area. It has an open floor plan that offer incredible views through every window. The property is situated on an acre of lushly landscaped grounds, and is surrounded by vineyards and orchards where the cycles of Nature play out under California skies. It's truly a magical place to stay!

Charming getaway to wine country

We had the best time at this property. The property mangers were responsive with all of our questions, and the grounds are beyond gorgeous. We all wanted to stay longer so we could really experience magic of this property.

Amazing Property

I can't say enough good things about this property. In short, this property exceeded expectations -- beautiful home, pool and jacuzzi are heated and clean, fire pit is beautiful, fruit and veggie garden are bountiful, chicken coupe is fun for the kids.

Perfect Family Retreat

Spirit Hill Farm was a perfect fit for this extended family and pure magic for the 2 and 5 year old grandchildren who used the pool, fed the chickens (thank you Hannah) and picked vegetables and apples. The extensive grounds and location by the vineyard are exquisite. We hope to return for a future visit!

Wonderful Getaway

This property is stunning! The house is surrounded by gardens, an orchard, vines growing, and chickens! We loved swimming in the pool/ spa and using the fire pit post dinner. The property manager is kind and goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Would love to come back again!

Warm welcome

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spirit Hill. The owner and caretaker extended a very warm welcome, stocking the fridge, setting the house up specific to our party (eg two kids — s’mores fixings!). The gardens and pool and house were all well cared for and a joy to relax in. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

West County Idyll

Perfect in every way. We celebrated two 50th birthdays and a 10th birthday, rotating through old friends and family over the course of a week+. It is spacious but intimate with perfect gathering areas and secret garden cloisters. The decor is fantastic, the location ideal and the management friendly and professional. A perfect place for a self-directed, luxury country retreat.

Slice of Heaven

We had an ideal weekend at Spirit Hill Farm. It is a stunning spot. The outdoor area had so many wonderful places to spend time - we enjoyed the exquisite flowers, the pool, the fire pit, cozy chairs, the vegetable garden... And the inside was so relaxing. We had joyful family dinners and game playing at the big dining room table. Proximity to lovely towns, the Russian River, and the beach was awesome. It was a perfect place for a get away.

Magical weekend at Spirit Hill

Spirit Hill is a wonderful property. It has a very unique character with wonderful personal touches, that make it feel like your own home in the country. The caretaker and was wonderful. She made the whole checkin process very easy and was so helpful throughout our stay. We loved picking fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, and eating fresh eggs for breakfast. We can’t wait to return.

Repeat visit - still impressive

This is our second time at Spirit Hill Farm. Again, we were so happy to be there. It is such a relaxing atmosphere. We loved the upgrades to the pool. The hot tub was amazing. My husband and son played bocce frequently and my daughter loved checking for eggs in the chicken coop. The basics are all covered here -comfortable beds, amazing showers, fully stocked kitchen. We will be back for repeat visits!

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time for the long president's day weekend. The house was in great condition with every amenity you could ask for and the land, animals, plants were both relaxing and managed to keep two very curious young girls well occupied. Anne provided great recommendations on places to go nearby that were high quality. She was both responsive and not intrusive. The hot tub was a little icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Magical stay at Spirit Hill Farm

I was completely delighted with our visit. The gardens, the many places to be outside (dining table, firepit couches, pool chaises, and vineyard-side lounge area), the great interior spaces for entertaining (dining room, large living room). For a group of 6 women, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Beds were incredibly comfortable, bathrooms were well appointed and immaculate, chef’s kitchen was a joy to work in. Our on-site hostess Anne answered every question and made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t wait to return.

Wonderful birthday getaway

This property invites peace and relaxation the moment you arrive. Our family stayed here to celebrate birthdays. The caretaker was warm and friendly. We loved getting veggies from the garden and checking to see if the chickens laid some eggs as birthday presents. The pool and hot tub were a big hit, especially on a hot day. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. To quote my daughter "This is one of the best places we have stayed."

Magical

Spirit Hill Farm is a magical place. The setting next to a vineyard and orchard amidst gorgeous flower gardens is enchanting. The pool and hot tub were warm and exceptional and we had the added bonus of fresh vegetables and fruit plus fresh eggs from the chickens. The house is more beautiful than the pictures show. You will want for nothing. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay very special. We hope to return soon.

We are going to return every year!

We stayed at this property last year and it was near perfect...the only thing missing was a shaded dining area near the pool so we could eat and/or play games whilst also watching the kids swim. And this year, there's an amazing new VERY shaded pavilion right there! And there's more chickens - they aren't quite up to producing the amount of eggs we'd like for breakfast but I know they just need a bit of time. :)

Amazing stay for girls getaway

When we arrived Anne gave us a tour of the beautiful (and fully stocked) property! There were many thoughtful touches through out the property to make the stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed the pool, cutting fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs from the garden and gathering fresh eggs, bocce ball and the serene surroundings. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. we’re fully stocked with everything we needed too. The only minor draw back is you can hear cars/trucks from the front bedrooms at night but the street is not a busy street. We would highly recommend this property to others.

Incredible stay and wonderful hosts!!

Spirit Hill Farm was an incredible getaway! Welcoming and incredibly well thought-out, we were continually impressed and surprised with the care and thought put into making guests feel welcome. We stayed for the Spring Break week with two 6 year-olds (yes, we're crazy). The kids lived in the pool and hot tub, loved playing frisbee on the lawn, and trying bocce ball. They offered lettuce to the chickens to say thank you for their eggs, helped collect herbs and lemons for dinner, and made s'mores while we pointed out constellations in the clear sky. The building manager, Anne, who lives in a separate guest house, was incredibly helpful whenever asked. We'd love to return, and can't speak highly enough of our stay at Spirit Hill Farm!

Simply the Best

We stayed for a long holiday weekend with another family - all kids aged 7-11. To put it simply it was perfect. We spent days playing Bocce ball, apple picking and swimming in the pool. We gathered eggs and beautiful produce from the garden. Evenings we spent roasting marshmallows at the fire pit or enjoying the lighting in the pool by night. The caretaker was fantastic and very responsive when we had questions. Teeny tiny piece of feedback is that it would be good to have a round table at the pool that we could use to play card games at…but seriously this place is so amazing!

Fabulous 50th Celebration

Spirit Hill is an amazing property! The photos don’t do it justice. Our group of 8 could not have been happier. It’s an absolutely fabulous destination! Anne, the groundskeeper was so helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, picking apples from the orchard and fresh veggies and figs from the garden-true farm to table! The owner was so thoughtful that she gave us a delicious array of cheeses from a local shop to help us celebrate our friends 50th birthday and enjoyed them with local wine while we relaxed outside at the fit pit, then played a game of bocce as the sun set. It was a perfect weekend and we were all sad to leave. We can’t wait to come back!
