About this property
Spacious 4 Bedroom/3 Full Bathroom Family Friendly Townhouse in Quechee Lakes
Recently updated, Ideal, Air Conditioned family vacation Deere Run 2700 sq ft Townhouse in Quechee. 4 bedrooms (sleeps MAXIMUM 6 adults, 4 kids). 2 master bedrooms (one on main floor, few stairs) 3 full bathrooms, 2 brand-new state-of-the-art water heaters (meaning hot showers for all), smart TV's, large deck. Strong upgraded wifi throughout unit. Zooms won't fail. New refrigerator, new couch, new microwave, master baths recently upgraded. New game/TV room for kids (or adults: real Pacman/Galaga arcade game, no quarters). Close shopping, dining. Access for renters to condo-association owned kidney shaped pool right outside door. Pets considered (add cleaning fee). 2nd fridge on lower level in laundry room for extra stuff.
Condo features: 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8) including 2 master bedrooms. Brand new air conditioning system for these increasingly hot Vermont summers, two brand-new state-of-the-art water heaters means even with a full house, everybody gets a nice hot shower, even on the coldest Quechee ski-hill day. Strong wifi for the modern family as well as the latest smart TV's to run streaming apps. Parking is steps from the front door, a nice plus in foul winter weather. Located a few blocks off Route 4 means easy access, a short drive to excellent local markets, but still nice, quiet and removed.
Wood burning fireplace on main floor, sauna and jacuzzi in upstairs master bath meaning when the temps are dipping outside you are warm and Quechee-cozy inside. Main floor living room for the adults, downstairs family room for the kids. Also beautiful family deck with partial (seasonal) water views. Full access to Quechee Lakes amenities (fees involved) including: clubhouse, feature indoor pool, private and reasonably priced ski-hill, especially for the family with small children (you might even say "cheap" when compared to the major nearby ski hills. Lots of people choose to stay in Quechee to ski the Quechee Hill most days and plan a "big" ski day at a nearby premiere mountain, often mid-week for better lift-ticket prices and more manageable crowds). A 3-day Quechee Ski Hill/2-day Killington/Okemo (both 45 minutes away) ski vacation is the norm. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, the Quechee club has a nice indoor pool that the kids often enjoy to kill a few hours. And of course tax-free shopping just across the Connecticut River in Lebanon NH, (everything from LL Bean and Best Buy to Walmart to BJ's).
Lake, golf, tennis, gym, etc etc (guest fees apply). Washer/dryer. Ideal for extended family rental. (Pets considered for additional fees, please be specific re: pets in your inquiry)
If you can, try to fit in a few hours to tour the campus of beautiful Dartmouth University, also a quick 20 minute drive from our condo. Some nice restaurants and shopping there in Hanover as well.
And of course you should plan a special brunch, lunch or dinner at the world famous, picturesque Simon Pearce restaurant (google it, you will see what I mean. Too beautiful to describe here). A must visit destination on virtually every New England travel list. And I'd be remiss if I didn't put in a plug for the wings, sliders and craft IPA's on tap at Public House. Feed the kids pizza from Pizza Chef, put on a movie and head out to dinner with the Adults to nearby Woodstock, West Lebanon. There is even a drive-in movie theater about half hour away for old time summer fun.
Check this link out to NBC Boston for latest on all the great food the Woodstock/Quechee area has to offer. Foodies delight!

The hosts were fantastic - easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations. The condo is was decorated for the holidays which was a welcome surprise for a holiday away from home. Plenty of room with 3 floors and communal gathering spots on each floor in addition to the 4 bedrooms. The sauna was in incredible bonus.

Laura and her family were terrific guests! They are welcome in our home anytime. We hope they come back. As host, highly recommend!
We stayed in this condo for a long weekend to attend our college reunion at Dartmouth. The 3-level layout was perfect for our group of 2 couples and one single, as everyone had their own floor of the unit and their own full bathroom. The space was quite comfortable, with high-quality furnishings. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen utensils were in good shape. The area was quiet, and we rarely saw other residents of the complex during our stay in early June.
It was our first time in Quechee and what a great spot for the whole family to come together now that we were all vaccinated. What a great location and wonderful accommodations. Room for everyone to have privacy when they wanted but lots of space to be together in the splendor of Vermont. Excellent communication from the owner and a breeze to check in. Everything was as promised. The most gracious of hosts made our plans a snap to book but also plenty of helpful tips about the area. With a super early departure for the airport, we were stunned by the view of the stars and had to pause a moment to take it all in. Our New Yorkers were thrilled to get some laundry done there instead of a laundromat. This place has everything for a week or weekend. Highly recommended.

Brad and his family were wonderful house guests and are ALWAYS welcome back. Communication was great back and forth, the condo was treated with respect and left in great shape. I look forward to Brad and his family returning if and when they decide to do so. I highly recommend renting to Brad and his family!
The owner provided detailed information which allowed for a smooth check in. The house description is accurate and the three floors allows for space away from each other as well as wonderful gathering space by the fire. Are son and family stayed in the lower level which provided them their own bedroom and our grandsons were right next to them in the bunk room, (which we decorated with holiday lights)Our other son stayed in the main floor bedroom and my husband and I had the upper level which gave us privacy. The home has a new high end stove which was great for cooking our Xmas dinner. The area is lovely. We were able to take a horse drawn sleigh ride and visited a nature preserve. This home was perfect for our family celebrating Xmas in front of a warm fire. We would definitely rent again.
Great spot, close to many activities and restaurants
Peter was a fantastic host from beginning to end. He immediately responded to my initial questions regarding this COVID era, and was quick to respond with anything else we were curious about (restaurant recommendations, etc). The place would be great for two or more families. There is a master on the third floor, a master on the main floor, and two bedrooms on the basement level (one with queen and one with four to five bunk bed spaces). Also a futon in the loft on third level. Adults can hang out on the main level while the kids enjoy the basement level hang out area with TV and PacMan and Galaga! Tennis courts and private pool were available for our use even though clubhouse was closed to renters during COVID. Thank you Peter for a great getaway!

The Quechee Lakes area is lovely. This condo is not in good shape.
The condo was not clean and had floor tiles popping up in both bathrooms. The ceiling was peeling and discolored in the master bathroom obviously due to a water leak from the skylight. If the owner had taken some time to maintain the property, it would be lovely. I can overlook the outdated wallpaper and even the stains on the carpet but the sinks are black around the drains and every time I stepped on the bathroom floor the tiles would literally come off the floor or shift under foot. For the price per night, the floors and ceilings at a minimum should be maintained. I will also add that we had to wash all the silverware before we could use it because it had been put away with food still dried on it. Not a good impression. I reached out to the property maintenance staff and they said the owner was aware of the condition of the unit. Very disappointed.

July Fourth Extended Family Gathering
We rented this townhouse for an extended family gathering of 6 adults and 4 young children. The sleeping arrangements were adequate, although be aware that the lower level bedroom features a double bed. The children enjoyed the room with the bunkbeds, and having three bathrooms was very nice. The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans to cook for the entire family. Condiments are plentiful, it seems each guest left these behind. There is a deck with a table, chairs and umbrella and a gas grill. We spent plenty of time out on this deck.
The townhouse is nicely located right next to a pool that is used exclusively by the Deere Run community. Very convenient! Also, there are two tennis courts a few steps away. These courts were not being used by tennis players and there is a kid-sized basketball hoop and hockey net in the enclosure. Our family had brought over-sized badminton equipment with us and we played on these courts with the children. No one seemed to mind that tennis was not being played.
One note, the townhouse does show it's age a bit. Not pristine clean, especially the carpet in the family room. But it fit our needs very well for a laid back family gathering.
