Beautiful Park-like setting on Little Cormorant Lake for your family vacation. Great fishing, campfires, swimming and just relaxing. Bring your boat and Jet ski- your able to launch directly from next to the dock. This is a Furnished 1 1/2 story house with a full walk out basement. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 12 comfortably. Upper level 2 huge bedrooms both with 2 full/Queen size beds in each and 1 has a walk in closet 1 full bathroom with tub/shower. Main Level 3rd bedroom with 1 full size bed on the main level Kitchen: Refrigerator, gas stove, dish washer, central air, microwave Dining room Living room 1/2 bathroom small foyer area Lower level walk out basement with 4 th bedroom, laundryroom, 3rd bathroom. There is an extra set of bunk beds 2-3 people for over flow sleeping.

Wonderful Summer Family Trip!

Every year our extended family chooses a cabin to rent for 4 nights. This one in Detroit Lakes was perfect! We loved the privacy, both on the deck and at the lake! The big yard was perfect. The paddle boat got so much use! So many memories made.

Great getaway!

This place was perfect for a getaway with friends over Labor Day weekend! Ken and Valerie thought of everything someone would need during a lake stay! Would love to come back again next year

Little beach of you own

Great lake spot for fishing, kayaking, etc. perfect size house for a couple or small group. The owners bought a new fridge and grill before we arrived which was nice.

The absolute best!

We had a group of 10 - all ages and loved every minute of it! Valorie was the best host and also gave us input for we fest as to where to park/ride. Highly recommend!

Lovely Lake Getaway

We enjoyed our time at this lake cabin. It was quiet and clean. We had everything we needed to cook for a large group and enough beds to accommodate us all. The pontoon rental and paddle boats were our favorite. We caught a ton of fish and enjoyed the campfire every night. Ken and Valerie were great at communicating and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet Lakeside Getaway

The cabin is quiet and comfortable with plenty of sleeping room for multiple families. The deck was great to relax on and watch the lake. The property is tucked away in a small bay so there is minimal boat traffic. Nice beach area and huge yard. Great fishing off the dock and all over the lake in general. Thanks for a fantastic week!

Open line of communication with property owner (very responsive and professional) Property was well kept with a beautiful view. Smoker came in handy for my group. A lot of space for a larger group (never felt crowded). Only wish we had more time to spend there!

Fantastic property and amenities optimally located

Val and Ken’s place is located on a less traveled part of a very desirable lake near Detroit Lakes. During our stay, we might have seen 6 to 8 other watercraft in the lake near the house. We caught too many fish to count. The kids ranging from teenagers to our 2.5 year old and baby thoroughly enjoyed their stay with many of the older kids claiming it was “under-hyped.” Tons of water toys (paddle boat, kayaks and a canoe) occupied much of their time, and less time was spent on screens and social media.Both Ken and Val are excellent communicators and their place is clean. Ask them about what activities you’d like to do before booking as they are knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction.

Great stay

This is what I think of as a true lake cabin. It's older, but comfortable. There's a nice deck, with plenty of seating. The yard is large and nicely shaded. The beach has plenty of sandy area, along with a really nice dock for your boat. The kayak and paddleboard were a big hit. The paddle boat was put to use, as well. We had plenty of room for a game of croquet, and plenty of smores were made at the firepit. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were thick and fluffy. We slept well after our days of skiing and knee boarding. We had a couple of minor issues, which were quickly taken care of by Valerie. She's very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Our group ranging from young teens to grandparents gathered here to celebrate a 50th anniversary, and it turned out to be an ideal setting for our special occasion. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cabin's thoughtful amenities and cozy ambiance. The cabin itself was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and worry-free. The spacious layout allowed everyone to have their own space while also providing ample room for group activities. The beach, dock, paddle boat, paddle board, and kayak allowed us to explore the lake from different perspectives. We swam, fished, and played in the water, creating unforgettable memories! The big yard was a true gem, providing plenty of open space for games, relaxation, and even some friendly competitions. The espresso maker was a favorite among the coffee enthusiasts in our group, adding a touch of luxury to our mornings sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Evenings were magical around the firepit, where we shared stories, roasted marshmallows, and enjoyed the tranquil beauty of the lake reflecting the stars above. The overall experience at the lake cabin exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect backdrop for our family's celebration, offering a harmonious blend of relaxation, adventure, and quality time spent together. Family Vacation

We had plenty of room for our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children. The deck was great with a beautiful view of the quiet bay on the lake and the nice large yard. The yard was great for yard games and the beach was wonderful for the younger children. We also enjoyed the use of the pontoon boat going into the different bays and watching the sunsets. The paddle boat, kayak and paddle board were also a very nice added bonus. We had wonderful weather and really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family getaway

Our stay was perfect! Valerie was a wonderful host providing us with plenty of information before our stay. The photos do not do the property justice as I was unsure what the outside/lake access would look like exactly for our smaller kiddos. We couldn’t have asked for better! We spent almost all our time in the yard, by the dock and beach or on the patio. Thank you so much for the perfect family getaway!

Great group spot

We had a great time at the property for a big friend's with kids get together. The biggest issue was 1 shower for all of us, but we made do. The yard is great for games, we parked a camper in the driveway for more sleeping and it fit us well. The lake is great, after we cleaned up goose poop at the beach 😆.

Cabin vacation on the lake was a success!

Everything was perfect thanks to the owners of this beautiful lake cabin!! Valerie went above and beyond answering every question I had and some. I’ve never rented before and was wondering how smooth this would go. She had everything we needed that we forgot and gave more than enough instructions with extra detail. Explaining things that I wouldn’t have thought of asking. I will definitely be back! Thanks again Valerie!

The yard, beach and lake were lovely. The house was adequate for a short stay. The beds need updating and the overall quality of the home/cabin was lower than we would expect for the cost. The yard and firepit by the lake are great. The grill was new and worked fantastic. The availability on short notice was appreciated. Nespresso makes all vacations better! Awesome location for our annual family vacation!

The property had a large back yard which was perfect for yard games! We enjoyed a lot of fishing, using the splash pad, paddle boards and sunny on the chairs in the water. Perfect space for our family -- 7 adults, 2-yr-old grandson, and two dogs. Nice big kitchen table for all of us to play cards and Yahtzee! Thank you to the owners for allowing questions before and as we stayed!

Great week at the Lake

I can’t say enough about this lake house. The setting was beautiful. The lake was wonderful. The hosts were responsive. It was a perfect week to relax and enjoy our vacation. The house was clean and ready for us. It had all the necessities and more. The view from the deck was Beautiful. We spent time out on the lake swimming and paddle boarding. There was a paddleboat and a fishing boat to use. Again it exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time.
