This was a beautiful condo with an awesome ocean view. It was the view that sold me. The condo was clean, fully stocked with kitchen and cooking utilities and centrally located in Jaco. This was a fantastic way to celebrate my 70th birthday 🎂 🎁🎈

The little things would make this place great

Great property and incredible view. The owner could stand to fix a few things in the condo such as: Clogged drains in both showers Bathroom faucet fixtures loose Front door does not close automatically have to always remember to check it Lack of plastic Tupperware to store fresh fruit in Other than those very small issues, the property was great!

Delightful condo

Lovely unit and well stocked. Got quick responses from manager. The view and closeness to the beach was great. Pool was great. The AC had a bit of a moldy smell but was told that was normal in such a humid area. Remote didn't work well for Netflix but we weren't there for TV anyway.

Great view! Problems with ac leaking water on the floor, safe not operable, dishwasher didn't work, knob would not operate the latch to get out of the bathroom plus a few more things. Vacasca kept promising their office in Jaco would call me and come over but never heard from them. Will definitely not stay there again. Stayed in a different unit two years ago and it was great. Does have a great view!

Beware. This condo will make you sick mold everywhere

The condo is covered in mold. The unit is run down. The ac units leak on the floor. I had to leave first day because of the mold. The owner should be ashamed of the condo condition. They also need to fire vacasa that is the worst property manager. I have filed a complaint and never get a response. Dont stay here.

Overall the place was nice

Overall the place was nice, it was clean upon arrival however there is a musty smell in the condo due to moisture being so close to water. This is expected. What was not expected was no hot water for a shower for 9 days. This was reported several times, claimed it was resolved and never was. Local support just stopped answering my messages. Frustrating to say the least. Otherwise, place was great and no issues.

Bad Mold Issue

This place has a nasty mold issue. I would not recommend anyone staying in it until this issue is resolved. There is mold in the hallway, bedrooms, and kitchen. It is everywhere, so there is no denying it. Water leaks from a hole in the ceiling in front of one of the bedrooms. I almost slipped on all the water on the floor. Water also leaks from an air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms. When we removed the sheets the last day so the maids could clean them, we saw that the mattresses also had mold. I took pictures of all the mold, notified Vacasa, and sent them pictures so they could inform the owners. This is a nice beachfront condo with a fantastic view, but this unit needs the mold removed ASAP!

Needs a lot of work

Lovely place and location butttt. There were manyyy problems with the unit and serious ones. The front door interior lock was hanging by the wires yet still worked. The back sliding doors would not latch or close all the way. We had to set up chairs with plastic cups on them for safety in front of both of them. Dryer vent not connected, leak in ceiling from a pipe they know about it bc they had a whole in the ceiling, there a multiple areas that the ceilings are wet and it seems to be moldy, faucets are about to fall off etc. we contacted the manager but we refused to have all these problems fixed when we were not going to be in unit bc simply they should have been fixed before we got there

Fabulous beachfront facility with wonderful views, great pool and security service!

However, the furnishings in the condo are in need of updating! Springs in the sofa are worn out and the frame is compromised. Thus, there is a lack of comfortable seating for four people. Rug in the living room needs to be cleaned professionally or replaced. AC in the main area is not sufficient for the space (very old and just can't do the job). AC in the master bedroom lacks a remote control. Kitchen is lacking good cooking tools (knives, scissors, serving plates and bowls etc). Sufficient silverware and plates/bowls for four people...that's it! BUT, the condo is in a wonderful location, well-built and safe. If the furnishings were to be updated....it would be PERFECT for four people.

Great Ocean Front Condo!

The pictures are real, the place is very nice, gave it a 3 because the furniture is at the end of use, very uncomfortable and should be replaced but you'll end up spending most of your time on the balcony. Stunning views of the ocean but the beach is very rocky with black sand which I guess explains why the other guests converge on the pool area. If you want a seat at the pool, designate someone to come out with towels and books at 5 am because by 7, there are no seats...no people either but no seats! There's a great beach front restaurant right next door, the best rice w chicken I've ever had and I'm from Puerto Rico! Also, check out the Green Room, great food, live music, more sophisticated crowd...let's just say that the strip is probably a favorite for college kids;) One last bit of advice, DO NOT RENT A CAR AT THE AIRPORT! They are crooks and every tourist we spoke to had the same or worse stories to tell! I rented with Dollar, 4 days was booked at $120.00 but they charged me $360.00! The scam is that they require that you buy their insurance, they will not take yours!

Beware this is NOT maintained it’s gross

We had several issues: cold showers, clogged showers, broken bathroom faucet, mold on walls, leaking dripping AC, slippery puddles of water on tile, worst of all broken dish washer. The maintenance replied promptly to texts and had us look for breaker boxes etc pretending to help fix issues which if you read the review before this, it states these issues have been issues for months . We arrived to blood in sheets so we washed and changed bedding. Then we found the dishwasher was not working so obviously the “leave the dishes in the dishwasher and run it”check out instructions were not followed by previous guests. After changing sheets we rolled up our vacation sleeves and went straight to work washing by hand and in cold water all the dishes so we could eat safely. I hounded the maintenance texts and they sent two men over who admitted to me that yes the dishwasher was broke and the owner would not give permission to replace it or remedy the issue. This owner should NOT be renting the place let alone shame on vrbo for letting it be listed as premier. It ruined the trip. It reaked of mold. The ceiling was also under construction as several areas were missing trim and paint. We stayed in a privately managed place in the same building last trip here and that place was amazing. It’s on the 7th floor with 3 rooms and the owner manages it directly and any issues we had were minor and he immediately fixed them. This owner is obviously holding out to sell.

Beautiful condo and good location

The condo was very comfortable and well appointed. Location was walking distance to most of Main Street Jaco. The balcony with its view of the pool and beach was exceptional. There were not any on site amenities. No pool bar, no concierge or restaurant.
