Family break
I had no information about key code or anything, turns out company who look after bookings didnt do there job right, the house needs some TLC cobwebs all over the place no lighting outside to have a quite drink outside, dining chairs kept falling apart the backs of them. Toilet upstairs wouldnt flush properly. The locations is good and the cafe serves nice food and we bought a few things from the antique shop, took a bus to whitby cost £2 each way and had a nice day there.

Seaton Court is located in a stunning area with beautiful views, especially when sat out the back (weather permitting good visibility of course). It's part of a larger arrangement of holiday accommodation which I believe were part of one large historic building. Therefore, it's interior is full of character with tapestries, paintings, dark wood. There's a lovely easy to use fire for chillier evenings & makes the living room very cosy. The TV has many channels but signal can be flakey so not all come through. The downstairs ensuite bathroom is good - spacious & the shower is hot & powerful. The upstairs shower lacks power but it's still another ensuite bathroom, albeit small. Plus, there's a third bathroom (bath only). There are 2 bedrooms upstairs & due to the nature of the building, the top floor is effectively in the roof. This does tend to give a darker, more cramped feel especially as there are only small sky-lights for light/ventilation.Great to have laundry equipment in the utility room. There is an on-site cafe which has had to reduce it's opening hours but I believe is currently open till 3pm.The owner lives on-site & I believe would be very happy to help if any resolvable problem occurred. It's in walking distance to Staithes (taking note of the steep walk down/up to the village); plus walking distance to a fantastic country pub, The Fox & Hounds in Dalehouse. I would thoroughly recommend this pub if you love a traditional country pub with great pub meals. Best ring in advance as they have limited capacity.
