Oceanside Multi Family - Steps to Beach - Roof Top Deck & Amazing Outdoor Space

Plenty of room in this multi family / large group rental duplex. This 2400 square foot home allow guests to really spread out. Very flexible checkin/out times offered in offseason! This house offers 5 bedrooms total featuring 2 King Masters En-suites and an additional King bedroom with full bath just outside the door. The first floor has been completely updated with granite counter tops and has been newly furnished with over-sized sectional and 72” television, the sun-room offers a 2nd living area with plenty of seating. Enjoy a game of cards on the large all season porch overlooking the large backyard and enjoy the sunshine. Large kitchen with island, dining table and patio set provide plenty of space for eating and hanging out, and a large backyard (grass). A flat top roof deck off the 2nd master bedroom with spiral stair case access is added space to lay out or relax on cool nights. 1 minute walk to beach. New Allen Roth 12 foot gazebo on concrete patio in backyard provides shade on hot days. (All spaces pictured are private/not shared, the only shared space is the parking lot with clearly marked spaces- 3 guaranteed and off street parking available for fee). 12 backpack 5 point Beach chairs with large shed added in 2021.

Outside shower and foot washing station provided to limit sand getting into home. Consciousness guests only please. Excess sand ruins pipes, sliding glass doors, carpeting, ability to clean homes efficiently in allotted time.

Owner and assistant reside within area making issues or repairs solvable within hours.

Under 25 renters require additional $1000 security deposit.

2 beach carts, 2 portable highchairs.

6 minutes walk to Starboard.

Bedrooms have king beds in 3 large rooms and new bunkbeds and mattresses in 2 remaining bedrooms.

Bring fitted sheets to size. We supply pillows but require pillow cases. Towels, toiletries, paper products are not provided. You can rent from sheetsatthebeach.com . They also have other rentals- porta cribs, bikes, towels etc.

Stocked kitchen with everything you would need to prepare meals at home, grille, 2 foldable highchairs, smart TVs in King bedrooms, two beach carts, and smart lock entry are some of the extras. Have propane tanks, will reimburse if refill needed. Not guaranteed to be filled. Beach chairs part of rental for family groups.

OFF Season Available for Group Events and Work Retreats (October-April)

In the event of a cancellation refund will be given if the property can be re-rented for same price.

Check in for 2023 is 3:00 and Check out is 10:00. This check in is subject to change with COVID best practices cleaning guidelines. You will be notified prior to check in if check in time is changed.

Our stay was great! The host was responsive and the place fit our needs perfectly. Only complaints would be that the shower curtain in the master bedroom was pretty moldy and that some water leaked from the ceiling in the living room from one of the showers. Thank you!

Great Thanksgiving Stay

Property was great for our Thanksgiving stay! Rooms were comfortable. Two sitting areas and a spacious dining area worked out well. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Stone’s throw to the beach. Backyard space is nice. Didn’t use the rooftop space much due to the temps. Great communication with owner and flexible check in check out times were appreciated. Great spot!

Great place for a family vacation

The house was great and less than a block to the beach. Restaurants within easy walking distance. Only complaint would be two of the bedrooms had AC vents coming out of the ceiling instead of the floor like all the other rooms. These two rooms had poor air flow and were warm.

Family Vaca 2023

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! We will be back and would recommend to any large group. Great location in the heart of Dewey Beach. Spacious living area, good sized bedrooms with multiple bathrooms to accommodate a family vaca with children. We communicated with the property owner during our stay and he was extremely responsive. New Year’s family celebration

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for us all to be in one room or to break off into smaller groups in a variety of spaces. We loved the backyard with the covered gazebo. We were able to be outside when it was raining.

It was a nice house, big enough for everyone. We had 3 families with little ones so it was nice having two living spaces. Minor issues, such as one tv didn’t work, 2 rooms got very hot at night even with the ac set low. A door knob was broken so you couldn’t close the door. Great walking distance to beach and town. I was sad there was no sight lines to the beach or bay from the roof. Loved the out door shower for after the beach! I reached out to get things fixed and got a response but then no one ever came over to fix things or follow up.

Great location in Dewey

We had a great experience here overall. The host was very responsive but we did have a little lockbox trouble upon arrival--could be made easier by a better description in the instructions as there were two entry doors at the property. We also had issues with the garbage disposal which we raised with the host. Otherwise the property was excellent for our large group of friends and kids with easy beach access. We especially appreciated the beach chairs!

The house was in a great location. Sheets on the Beach worked for linens but we weren’t told that the beds had quilts and duvets so we ended up paying for more linens than we needed. Common rooms and kitchen were nice, well equipped and well-appointed. One of the bottom bunks in the room with four beds had a warped mattress and my daughter had an aching back as a result. The floor had not been cleaned, or even swept, so there was sand and dog hair all over, which was gross and irritating. We alerted owner but they apologized but didn’t do anything to address the issue. The closet in one of the bedrooms was broken. There were hooks where we could hang things, but that meant having clothes hanging in the room. The closets were full of unfolded linens. All in all, this house provided a less polished an experience than we expected for the amount of money we spent. We have rented through VRBO frequently and the preparation and cleanliness of this home was much less impressive than all the other places we have stayed.
