The owners of The Round House purchased the original Woodside House way back in 1979, renovating their own house, adding an indoor heated swimming pool before embarking on The Round House in 1994. As an architect, the owner was able to fulfil his dreams of creating a modern house with every comfort. The same attention to detail went in to landscaping the 9 acres of gardens - you will find plenty of mature trees and bushes which attract some amazing bird life.

The rural, peaceful location combined with the proximity of local towns Bakewell (4 miles) and Matlock (5 miles) make it the ideal spot in which to explore The Peak District.
