Fantastic walks, paddle boarding, sailing/Kayaking & cycle paths on the doorstep. Centrally located for Chatsworth House & petting Farm, Kedleston Hall, and Haddon Hall or if you fancy something a little more adventurous Alton Towers, Splash Landings and Go Ape are all a 15 minute car drive. Quad biking, paintballing and buggy driving are available 10 minutes away in Brailsford. The lake and the visitors centre offer Paddle boarding, Sailing, wind surfing, fishing & boating with great cafes, restaurants, bird watching and children's adventure play ground. If that all sounds like too much effort the delightful market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock are within a few minutes, where you will find boutiques, antiques, restaurants, markets, and galleries.
