You are in the heart of Harbor Country with private access to the best beachfront in Michigan. For the renter that likes luxury, convenience, and multiple amenities welcome to The Beach Barn.

The Beach Barn sits in the quiet woods, at the base of a dune, with direct access and a short walk to a beautiful private Harbert Beach on Lake Michigan. Part of a small association, with a handful of longtime residents, the area has a rich tradition of quiet family gatherings, appreciation for nature, and a casual and respectful attitude towards neighbors. Renters of The Beach Barn will be expected to align with these core values, and will be welcomed and appreciated by others in the area. Thanks to our great neighbors and community, whether at the house, or on the beach, Harbert is among the best vacation spots along the lake.
The home itself has ample space for the whole family to spread out and relax. You will enjoy the large enclosed patio with fireplace. On that same floor is a beautiful sitting room with fireplace and television, immaculate kitchen with everything you would need to cook for multiple guests, a large dining area, and a master bedroom suite. The second floor offers four bedrooms, including a second master suite, a guest room with a king bed, a guest room with two twin beds, a bunk room that sleeps 8, three full baths, washer/dryer, and a rec room with a video game machine, pool table and plenty of room to relax. This home has everything including a a private pool and spa. Don't let it pass you by!

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. Well stocked and had everything we needed. We had 7 adults and a 2 year old and 4 year old and everyone was comfortable. Gorgeous, clean, and inviting inside and out. We loved the spacious bedrooms, fun game room, outdoor pool, and fire pit. The beach is a short walk away and feels very private.

Beautiful home in idyllic setting. Access to semi-private beach is an easy walk, some steps but our three year old had no trouble with it. Spotlessly clean and well supplied kitchen.

The house is beautiful, clean and was the perfect size for our group of 13 adults and kids. Perfect spot for a quiet, laid back vacation. Communication with the owner was great, too. We would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect for a family

The beach barn is a perfect place for a big group. The house is immaculate and the location is in the middle of what seems to be a forest while only a short walk to Lake Michigan and nearly perfect beaches. Pam was very responsive to our questions and our family enjoyed our time so much.

Great summer trip

This property was amazing this was our 6th summer trip with a few families and the property did not disappoint. Amazing home with you need to keep children and adults happy. The owner was great and greeted us with a nice smoore kit.

The best place for a big family!

The accommodations were even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures! The huge multi-purpose/game room was the perfect place for our kids to hang-out and play; the pool was lovely; the beach was uncrowded with soft sand and beautiful, clean Lake MI water; I could go on and on! Just wonderful!!!

Perfect extended family vacation spot

This is the first rental property that I have not been disappointed in when walking through the door. It is just as the pictures portrayed. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were fabulous. The setting was beautiful and the private beach was gorgeous. Our family loved every aspect of this property.
