Great location with lakeviews, well appointed kitchen and nice updated bathrooms. Large private beach with lots of available chairs, umbrellas and water toys.
The house was clean and am to accommodate 8 people without a problem.Yard was great and the beach was beautiful, clean and went on for miles. We will stay there again without hesitation.
Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Great amenities with lots of beach gear.
Had everything we wanted for a long memorable weekend on the shores of Lake Michigan.
They've done an excellent job on the interior renovations! Great spot on the lake. External curb appeal and neighboring buildings aren't the prettiest, but once you snuggle inside this immaculate cottage it doesn't matter! Surpringly great restaurants in the area, and they've got great chairs, etc set up by the beach
This was probably the best place we’ve stayed since vacationing at Lake Michigan. The hosts were wonderful and quick to respond. The house was beautifully updated and well stocked.

Thank you, Nancy. You were terrific to work with -- we look forward to hosting you again!
Our entire stay was so relaxing and easy. We loved the private beach and easy access to chairs, umbrellas and toys. We had two families with kids ranging from 6-14 and everyone had enough space and privacy while still enjoying each other’s company. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We spent the day relaxing at the beach and evenings watching the sunset, relaxing in the porch and playing games at the dining table. It was The perfect family vacation!
My husband and three of our grown children enjoyed a long weekend at this cabin. It has been completely remodeled and is beautiful inside. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and gorgeous. There are all the appliances you need to prepare meals in the state of the art kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after spending the days enjoying the private Lake Michigan beach. There are 125 steps down to the beach so be prepared for a good stairs workout!!
I stayed at the house in late June with 3 adult friends. the house is very comfortable and well decorated. The size worked well (4 bed/2 bath) and loved the outdoor space (seating area, dining area and walk to beach).
My only feedback would be more accuracy around the beach/lake view (the house sits back quite a bit, so definitely no lake view). There is also a run down house on the same property that is a bit of an eyesore. It would also be nice to have some basic staples to get started (salt/pepper, 1 day of coffee, etc). Although not having these items also meant the kitchens was super clean without any “leftovers” from other guests.

Thank you for the feedback, Kristen. There was salt/pepper (wonder if another guest accidentally packed it out with their stuff). Great idea on the coffee -- we will add this to our list!
This home is elegantly designed with a modern boho charm and spotlessly clean. Everything about the process and stay was effortless. I stayed with 3 friends for some R&R. Everyone raved about the home - it’s amenities - and how comfortable the beds are!! This was a huge plus! I travel quite a bit and most places I do not sleep well. I stayed in the first room and slept like a dream. The view of the lake from interior is limited but asa you step out on the deck, it lays out in front of you. We sat on the deck a lot and enjoyed the hot tub our last evening here. The large hot tub is a definite plus! 124 steps to the beach, which wasn’t as bad as it looked intimidating at first! I had my morning meditation and coffee there and even though it was April morning chilly, it was spectacular and secluded. I’ve been using VRBO for over 15 years and this home is in my top 5! The owners are kind and thoughtful. Make sure you leave a rock on their chimney - another flare we just loved! Thank you
We loved staying here. It was a wonderful family Spring Break weekend. Loved loved loved the kitchen. Very well stocked and plenty of room for the 9 of us. We enjoyed the Hot tub, but the highlight was definitely the beach! Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Beautiful sunsets and got lots of exercise going up and down the steps to the beach. So nice they had a resting spot with a bench halfway. We would definitely stay here again!
