On first inspection the property looks quaint. Lovely views from the balcony, good size bathroom and very comfortable bed. However the shower has very poor water pressure and the main issue was the extremely steep and dangerous staircase. This property is NOT suitable for children, elderly people and people with mobility issues. The location from the car park is treacherous and difficult with carrying luggage etc. We feel that this property needs inspecting by Verbo as there is a huge risk of somebody having a serious/fatal accident. We have had to cut our well needed holiday short due to the risks of injury, nearly falling down the stair case a few times.
Such a lovely little cottage, and very much enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed was available, it was clean and fresh and has lovely views from the top bedroom.
Although there are many steps to the property it’s not a big deal, we are in our 60’s and felt much fitter after and is well worth the effort.
Looe is a lovely, relaxing, easy going place to visit and we will certainly return for sure.
Thank you.
Delightful little cottage with superb views over the harbour. Well kitted out and very clean and comfortable. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood and a short distance to the local shops and a charming pub. About 10 minute walk to the busier East Looe for more shops and restaurants. Access requires a good level of fitness as it’s at the top of a steep lane of steps but it’s well worth it for the privacy and the views. Highly recommended.
Looe is a lovely fishing port and this cottage has a great view of it. All the arrangements were accurate and the cottage itself spotless and well prepared. Parking for one is about 2 minutes walk through there are steps to access from either above or below the property (on a step hill). Would definitely recommend.
