Pen-Y-Bryn is the top part of a converted family home recently updated for holiday use, with easy access by road, 2 parking spaces, with stunning views of the town itself, Looe River and Looe Island.
It has two double bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/Diner and a lounge, both with views out to sea and the town. Modern quality furniture and soft furnishings within comfortable surroundings.
There is also a balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views of the Cornish Countryside, sea, river and watch the fantastic sunset.


The self-contained apartment is set in the heart of East Looe - ideally situated overlooking both the English Channel with the famous Looe Island in full view, and Looe River. The property is a short, 10-minute walk, from the sandy beach, historic harbour, cafes and restaurants.
This coastal location in South-East Cornwall is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape from everyday working life.
The property sleeps up to 4 adults, a cot is also available for young children, and is ideal for family holidays, couples and small groups.
A short distance from superb local attractions such as Eden Project, all of Cornwall's famous Gardens, such as Lost Garden of Heligan, and beautiful stately homes.
Looe Golf club, country/coastal walks along with various smaller beaches are all within a short distance.

Absolutely wonderful location looking over Looe, the rivers and the island. Very clean and comfortable and a balcony in the sun. Easy to get to the coastal path for walks and visited three houses within easy reach; Cotehele, Mt Edgecombe and Antony House. Looe has a fine beach and plenty of places to eat and see. Hosts very welcoming and friendly - a great place to stay

What can I say? This was the perfect apartment for us as nuclear family (2 parents + 2 teenagers. Lots of space with everything that is needed for shorter or longer stay and extremely hospitable and helpful hosts who made us feel at home (thanks Pat and Brian). Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The property itself is absolutely immaculate and Brian and Pat are very friendly and on hand to help, if necessary. Absolutely stunning views from the property which is situated at the top of a very steep hill and it is an easy walk to Looe (shops and beach). However, it is a steep walk back up the hill, which wasn't a problem for us, but something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues. Overall a fabulous property, in a great location and the owners are really friendly people. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful apartment

We had fantastic stay at the wonderful Pen-y-Bryn. Our lovely hosts Brian and Pat were so welcoming and helpful. The property is so spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed and more. The binoculars were a great addition to make the most of those amazing views and the houseplants and lovely soft furnishings made it a real home from home. Looe is a great place to explore and we mostly enjoyed our trip to Looe Island. Well worth a visit. Thank you for our memorable stay Brian and Pat. We hope to return one day.

Comfortable stay in great location

All the other reviews with regard to location/cleanliness/comfort - home from home are absolutely true. A delightful stay with a few niggles! Stayed in mid September and we were a little chilly first thing in the morning. The property relies on the owners controlling the heating. Portable heaters would be beneficial to guests who like it cosy. Make sure you take the provided map with you and turn LEFT at the spa shop! The directions provided (which are taken from an on line route planner) are very misleading for the very last part of the journey and sadly the owner lacked a little patience when we had to phone him several times to guide us to the property, but don't let this put you off staying!
