Lovely modern house in Muir of Ord, close to the golf course and distillery. Convenient location for day trips to Isle of Skye, Balmoral, Dunrobin and points in between.
Sykes Cottages was OK to deal with, but if you’re US based, they only take Visa, and registering with the website makes payment much easier.
I would recommend the Old Manse if you’re looking for a place to stay near Inverness.
We stayed here during a family trip with my husband's siblings and their spouses. Each had their own full bathroom with shower which was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable and the house is just gorgeous. We found ourselves wishing we could stay longer.
