Judy’s place is in a great uptown location - close to restaurants, Whole Foods, the streetcar, the river and Audubon park. Street parking is safe and easy to find. Judy is easy to communicate with and her unit is very well appointed and comfortable. I’d be happy to stay there again and highly recommend it.
Such a wonderful host! She cintacted me several times before my arrival to make sure I knew how to get in the property. The garden was wonderful and parking was easy! It was a very quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the games and puzzles! Walking distance to restaurants and shopping on Magazine Street. A short drive to the Fly and St Charles. Will stay again next time I visit my daughter at Tulane!
Wonderful and cozy place to stay. Convenient and safe location with a lovely backyard oasis. Beds were comfortable and our host was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!
Judy is wonderful and incredibly helpful. The property is very comfortable and has lots of amenities. The location is perfect for accessing both Magazine St and St Charles. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a perfect place to stay if you don’t mind the shared entrance. The host was very responsive and friendly and gave great tips for places to visit nearby. Loved staying uptown for our visit, it’s a really great neighborhood and right next to Magazine street.
I can't say enough good things about this place. First off, the host has wonderful communication you. She was wonderful from the beginning, during our stay and through our last day. The property is amazing!! We had a party of three and the 2 bedrooms and one bath was perfect. It was like having our very own apartment in New Orleans! You are so close to many restaurants and bars. It did not take us long to get to the French Quarter. We usually stay in the quarter when we travel to NOLA, but after this last visit we will check to see if this place is available. Easy parking, and much quieter than the quarter. Highly recommend this place!!
A wonderful and relaxing place to stay for our daughter’s move-in. Everything we needed in a great location, and Judy was attentive and helpful. We will be coming back!
The space was bigger than it looks in the photos, and very comfortable. We were a little wary of the back door being connected to the main house, but there was a large divider set up and we never felt any lack of privacy. The location is fantastic and the price was great. The property has beautiful gardens and Judy is great. Definitely staying here again, and in lived in New Orleans for four years.
Our trip to New Orleans was made even better because of the fantastic location and lovely amenities provided. Even after a bit of a snafu to start the trip, the host provided excellent communication and worked diligently to make sure we were comfy and had all of our needs met. Went over and above to share unique local eats across a variety of ages and preferences and provided some great insight about the neighborhood. If you are looking for a relaxing NOLA spot, then look no further. Extra points for quality linens and thoughtful details and touches throughout.
We had a great stay in a private and charming 2 floor suite. Perfect location near Magazine street that was filled with great restaurants and shopping. The garden was sweet and lovely in the evening with its lights that looked like fireflys.
There was a gate at the bottom of the stairs that you need to maneuver but it is necessary for the dog (who is very sweet). Thank you Judy for being a gracious host.
Ms Judith, was above and beyond being the best host along with having some special amenities for us when we arrived. She was most gracious, kind, hospitable and willing to help us when needed in many ways. If there was something that needed immediate maintenance or repaired, it was taken care of within ample time. Both bedrooms and living area were very comfortable, clean, and spacious for all of us to have a good time. Ms Judith was usually nearby to assist, welcome us, ask for anything needed etc. etc. etc. We loved our stay and we loved Ms Judith’s personal and genuine touch of family. I felt like we were at home and she gave us our own privacy without interfering with our normal day lives. Thank you Ms Judith for allowing us to be a part of your home for the week of our 65 and over national tennis tournament held at NOLTC. It was an exceptional treat, hope you’ll have us again. Truly, glen
We enjoyed our first Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Judy, the owner, was fantastic! Very helpful and pleasant to converse with. She even offered to carry some of our bags in. She kept to herself but if we needed anything, she was right there to assist! Her place is walking distance to the parades routes and street car/bus which we did take to the French Quarter as too far to walk then got an Uber back since the street car and bus was closed that late.
We would highly recommend her place to stay again if in New Orleans.
Judy and her home are lovey. Great location to Magazine Street and the beautiful Garden District. Just be aware that the upstairs living area isn’t closed off by a separate door. This didn’t bother us it was still very private.
