What an amazing place. 11 of us stayed here with plenty of space and beds. The property is beautiful with stunning views. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend a pizza night at the place, one of our favorite dining experiences. Gave us a true authentic feel staying here. There is a walkable mini-market and amazing restaurant for dinner.

Host Samuel and Giovanni & Louisa were fabulous. The reality of the villa far exceeds the pictures! Wonderful place to chill out! Samuel helped with arranging trip to Capri. Local restaurants were great. Definitely a villa to return to.

What a home!

If you are looking for a house with a view, this is the one. Extra bonus was being able to enjoy it from the pool. We had a great stay. Samuel was always responsive when we needed something he made sure someone from the family was able to assist us. I recommend having the family prepare a meal for you. It was a great 4 hour dining experience and well worth it!

The view, the view, the view! The panoramic views of Capri are absolutely breathtaking from throughout the property, with unforgettable sunsets and magical moonlit skies every evening.The outdoor space is incredible. The infinity pool overlooking the coastline was a highlight for our group, with plenty of loungers, plus an outdoor shower and separate bathroom that made pool days effortless.The villa has an authentic Italian feel and was perfect for our group of nine. With five spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, everyone had comfort and privacy.The kitchen is beautifully designed and extremely well equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The outdoor pizza oven was a standout. We made homemade pizzas that became one of our favourite memories. The outdoor dining and seating areas were perfect for our large group, especially for moonlit dinners under the stars. There are also Michelin-star restaurants nearby for incredible nights out.The location in Massa Lubrense was ideal, close to Positano, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast highlights. The nearby marina made it easy to take boat tours of Capri without the chaos of larger crowds. A grocery store steps away and Liberato’s fruit stand made everything easy and convenient.Most importantly, Luisa, Giovanni, and their wonderful family were beyond gracious and incredible hosts. They made us feel like part of their family.Highly recommend.

21 Days in Paradise!!

Had a glorious 21 day stay in the magnificent villa, Antica Casale, Santa Lucia, in beautiful, peaceful Massa Lubrense! The villa was absolutely perfect in every way. The inside accommodations were immaculate, with all the necessities needed! The stunning massive outside area was beautifully decorated with an amazing view of Capri! The pool area was a delight with plenty of seating and a wonderful outside bathroom and outdoor shower! Our sweet and loving hosts Luisa, Giovanni and family were absolutely amazing, providing all the essentials, including delicious chef made dinners and a wonderful pizza making experience. Their generous hospitality was beyond perfect making my family and friends feel so welcomed and loved. The neighborhood where the villa was located was beautiful. The wonderful local store, which was just minutes away by foot, provided all the essentials need for our three week stay. Another delight was the delicious neighborhood restaurant, La Torre 1 Fire. The owner Antonio and his beautiful daughters were just fabulous. If you are thinking about visiting the Amalfi Coast this is the villa for you!

This was the best rental ever. The villa itself was amazing. Simply amazing. The view from the pool and balcony is Capris. The setting is brilliant. 10 minutes from the village and a small store within walking distance. That said Giovanni and his son Samuel will get you anything you need. The hosts: These are my people. Giovanni: “Paulo, my home is your home” Samuel: supper attentive to any request. I would be happy for my daughter to marry this young man.The venue: Not much else to say. Amazing views. Lots of room. Super clean and comfortable. Everything just is perfectBe sure and ask about a home cooked meal (worth it) and a boat trip to Capris.I can’t say enough good things about this rental. It was 100% the right choice for our family trip to Italy. Go, take friends. Drink their homemade wine and lemoncello. Taste their olive oil. Don’t think, book. And tell the hosts I said “Ciao”.

BEST EVER!

Quite literally, the very best site we've ever stayed at (and we've stayed at over 50)! Giovanni and Louisa were brilliant, loving hosts! Such exceptionally gracious people. The villa is a castle from 1761 and is breathtaking, not just the view but the rooms, the hallways, the little extras. And soooo many modern amenities with flair! Did I mention the view looking out at Capri and the Med is incredible! Seriously, this IS the villa to book! You can rent Giovanni's boat for your trip to Capri, which either he will captain or his son, Gennaro, will. They have pizza-making classes on site with a beautiful pizza oven they built themselves. WE LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT WE DID IT TWICE!! Yes, it was that good. The pizza was so delicious and the experience was so fun! a market that you can walk to about 150 yards away. easy walk. 300 yards away is a restaurant that gets a Michelin mention each year. AMAZING FOOD, but even better is the family running it! Tony, Alicia, mama in the kitchen, Viktor even arm-wrestled me! :D Wonderful restaurant & family flair! You can walk down to Massa Lubrense for restaurants, a larger market, shops, and more. Then catch a cab back up. Check out La Cantuccio. - Go to Cala di Puolo for time on a truly Med beach. Sure the umbrella and chair aren't cheap, but they're soooo worth it. - Go to Sant' Agata by taxi to Fiorentino for delicious pastries and gelato. Check out La Stuzzichino

Our stay in Massa Lubrense was fantastic. It is nice to be in a less busy area, no tourists. Easy to unload luggage to villa and have car service pick you up. The villa was huge very nice, had it not been so hot we could have enjoyed it even more and opened it up, but we had to trap the A/C. The kids loved the pool. Our hosts Louisa and Giovanni, Samuel a great family, they helped organize the boat day, transportation and cooked us pizza the last night, it was truly perfect and they are very kind and welcoming. Literally down the street (5 min walk) is a market with all you will need to supplement your stay. The town center is a 15 minute down hill walk, but remember you have to go uphill on return! There are more stores, pharmacy, restaurants. A pizza place Pulecenella, the best! The marina (swimming, restaurants) is 25 minutes downhill walk, but again the uphill is quite a workout. Around the corner from the villa is a great restaurant for dinner (5 min walk) Torre One Fire, family owned on Michelin List. There are a few restaurants you can get free taxi rides to from the villa again family owned spots. Lastly, the view of Capri?! Love, love will visit again.

We just had the most wonderful time at Masse Lubrense. We were 10 people ....Myself who is an 80 year old grandmother (Nana). My three adult children, my four lovely granddaughter's and a boyfriend. This great holiday suited us all very well. Walking to the little town and down to the port, lots of fun in the pool overlooking the Isle of Capri. What a view....The house, the pool, the indoors and outdoors seating areas were all superb. The hosts were brilliant, kind, helpful and could not have done anymore for us if they tried.We had a Pizza evening where we all did our own versions, Giovani, Louisa and their son Samuel helped us all create very delicious Pizzas.We had a wonderful Italian meal on our last evening. Cooked, served and wonderfully presented by the family. This experience was truly unforgettable. Vivienne

Wondeerful Villa

A wonderful character villa, large, fantastic view. Maria, the Property Manager, never appeared. A cot was requested at booking, and a reminder sent 2 days before arrival, but was not at the villa when we arrived. Giovanni & his wife Louisa presented themselves ther next day as the Property Managers, and they looked after us very well. Villa has all the facilities needed, good WiFi (inside), some of the patio & pool furniture needs to be replaced (eg broken or torn patio umbrellas). But overall, a great vacation villa, we were a family of 12, we all enjoyed it.
