About this property
NEW Luxury 2 bed Cottage in the Historic City Winchester with private parking
Little Corners is the NEW Cottage of the main family house, Corners. This newly developed space benefits from having private access and two parking spaces. The private entrance benefits from it’s own garden space out of sight of the main house. There is a 5 meter by 2.5 meter raised decking area for enjoying the morning and afternoon sun. On entering the property you will find a stylish lounge-diner made up of a 3-seater sofa, smart TV, log burner, kitchenette and breakfast bar with 4 stools. Additionally, we wanted to ensure our guests have the little luxuries that we all enjoy when away from home, so we added electric blinds, Sonos music system with voice control, beautiful candles and diffusers, as well as designer rugs and blankets to add that extra bit of luxury. Upstairs you are greeted with a generous landing complete with leather chair, side table, and Ralph Lauren rug. Off the landing you access the two spacious yet cosy bedrooms, the shower room and a large wardrobe/cupboard. To the rear of the property is the super-king room with incredible views across the valley of Twyford, towards the waterworks and the stunning sunrise. Across the landing we have a lovely king-size room with an additional single/trundle bed for larger families, if required. We wanted to ensure everyone staying had the best night sleep possible, so we have installed Simba hybrid mattresses and pillows. We also wanted you to have the ‘feel of down’ duvets which are fully synthetic meaning those with allergies can sleep just as soundly. That brings us to our wonderfully spacious shower room. We’ve treated you to a huge walk-in shower and fabulous soaps that will get you ready for your daily adventures around Twyford and Winchester.

Perfect place to stay near Winchester, beautifully furnished with comfy beds, thick carpets, fab bathroom, lots of little luxurious touches and appliances. Gorgeous view from master bedroom. Local shops and pubs if needed and only ten minutes' drive from historic Winchester. Giuseppe and Camillla were perfect helpful hosts. We would very happily return. Highly recommended.
Everything was top quality and everything you could possibly need. Rooms lovely and beds extremely comfortable. Only met Giuseppe briefly as we spent most of our time with our families who were camping at Marwell Resort, but if we had been at the cottage there was a lovely wood burner available had it been chilly plus blankets etc. The village,Twyford is lovely too.
We had a great stay in Twyford! We visited Winchester (took the bus in from the end of the lane), Portsmouth, Chawton House, and Stourhead Gardens. It was a great, central location for our trip. Such a lovely, rural location, yet super easy to get into the city by the bus.
From booking to leaving the whole experience at Little Corners was ace.
The property is beautifully appointed .. plush beds ... Lovely towels ... Comfy sofa ... Wood burner .. the mini kitchen space works well. The hosts were great with communication and on hand if we needed anything ...

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
We stayed for 5 nights in this attractive cottage. It had two large bedrooms, both with very comfortable beds and the shower was great, big with good water pressure. The living room was large with a good sized TV. On the downside, there was no stove as such, which we had expected as it was mentioned in the property details. What was provided was one air fryer and two portable induction plates, all of which were stored away in cupboards. The kitchen worktop was really to small to use them effectively. So we changed our minds about cooking and ate out instead making it a much more expensive holiday than we'd planned. Also communication was poor, the key code for the lockbox had not been provided, though fortunately Camilla was around so we were able to knock on the door and get it. Additionally, we had to ask for the WiFi password to use with our laptop as a only a QR code was provided - so we had to also send a message asking for this.Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and lovely and quiet at night. The location is very convenient for Winchester.
We had a lovely stay as a family with 2 young children and grandparents with a dog. The views and location are gorgeous. The property is finished to a high standard and very well equipped. We enjoyed the Bugle Inn pub for lunch and dinner, walks along the river, nearby playgrounds and village shop. There is parking for 2 vehicles and it is well equipped for young children with high chair, stair gate, safe enclosed garden. I look forward to coming back!
Prachtig huisje.
Fantastische locatie.

Thank you for your lovely review. We would love to welcome you back to Little Corners. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
This little cottage on the end of a larger house has everything you need for a few nights. We stayed a week and really got to enjoy the water meadows and walks, pub lunches and just relaxing at the picnic table outside. If you’re staying more than a few days the lack of dishwasher and washing machine might be annoying. Hosts were helpful and friendly. An authentic rural English experience!
This is a quiet part of Twyford, well off the main road.
A little difficult to find using Google maps, the post code is slightly off and takes you past the cottage, we got there in the end.
Parking for 2 cars even though we only had the one.
The property was very clean and would sleep 5/6 very well and the beds were extremely comfortable, shower was amazing.
Both Camilla and Giuseppe were great and were on hand if we needed anything, a real pleasure.
Had a fantastic meal in the Phoenix Inn in Twyford, everyone very pleasant and dog friendly.
It takes about 10 minutes to get into Winchester, parking in the Centre is cheap enough - so don't waste your time trying to park outside of Winchester and getting the bus in.
Eastleigh is about 20 minutes away and Southampton a little further about 30 minutes
All in all a fantastic place.
Very comfortable, quiet and charming cottage. There are paths through the adjacent farmland, very few people around. I do recommend that the host provide detailed written driving directions from Twyford, as this property can not be found on Apple or Google maps. Also, if you have never been to the area, the local roads are very narrow and scary to drive. Get a SMALL rental car to make it easier. But it is otherwise a perfect place to stay. In Twyford, visit the church, eat at the fine Bugle Inn. And check out the side streets across High St. from the Bugle Inn (like Queen Street) - utterly charming village that time forgot.
