A stay in a Sea Loft is a one of a kind experience...... you will enjoy the peace and quiet of a nature preserve with gorgeous marsh views.
Our two bedroom, two bath villa is a nautical inspired, unique octagon shaped treehouse with floor to ceiling windows in every room. The brand new downstairs addition is the perfect spot for watching the game, curling up with a good book or rolling out a yoga mat! The patio deck is perfect for meals, cocktails or birdwatching while overlooking Calibogue Sound marsh. Keep your eyes open and you will likely see the island deer wondering by each day.

Deer Island is just a few minutes walk to Harbour Town, Sea Pines Racquet Club and Harbour Town Golf Links. Each morning you can play your favorite sport, drop by the Harbour Town Bakery (newly renovated!) or stroll the Yacht basin. During the day Harbour Town is the center for all your family water activities from parasailing to paddle boarding or heading out on the sound to dolphin watch. In the evenings, you can visit one of the many restaurants and shops or climb 114 steps of the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse before the evening entertainment begins under the Liberty Oak tree.
Our Treehouse is a 15 minute bike ride to the Sea Pines Beach Club area or the South Beach marina where you can access the beautiful beaches thru dozens of walking paths throughout the entire resort area. The Sea Pines Trolley also provides a wonderful way of accessing the Beach Club and the rest of the resort. The Sea Pines Beach Club is also a 5 minute drive.
Sea Pines will become your favorite vacation destination and we know you will love your time on Hilton Head as much as we do! Security cameras - This home is equipped with an exterior camera for your protection and the security of our guests and property.

Deer Island “Tree House”

Fascinating place. Unique accommodation well decorated, supplied and comfortable. Very quiet area on the far end of Sea Pines which, as we discovered, you could spend an entire week in and be perfectly pleased. We would definitely recommend staying here

Secluded oasis on HHI

Wonderful property with close proximity to Harbor Town and all of Sea Pines. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet the area is given the proximity to Harbor Town. We definitely enjoyed the daily visitors (deer) as the island is named for.

Great Weekend!

We had a great weekend! The tree houses on Deer Island are one of our favorite places to stay. This was one of the cleaniest and niciest ones we have stayed in. Loved all of the amenties-especially having bicycles included!

2nd Honeymoon

We returned to the Sea Pines Resort for the first time since our honeymoon 44 years ago. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The location and setting were ideal, everything was just as described in the listing and the entire process from reservation to modification of that reservation to check-in and check-out were flawless.

We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk to Harbor Town restaurants, shops and bars. Nicely renovated and equipped. Only sticking point is there is only parking for 2 so if your group has 3+ cars, might be an issue.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here that gave us the feel of being close to nature while just steps away from Harbour Town. We hoped to see a few deer in the distance from the deck but actually saw several each day that came around close to the house! The house was exactly as described and seen in pictures. It was very clean and well stocked for our stay. We had a great time & are thankful to have found such a unique location!

Peaceful Retreat

The Sealoft had a cute nautical theme. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted/needed, including beach chairs and a boogie board. It was an easy walk to Harbourtown but was pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle.

My husband and two teenage children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. The easy access to Harbour Town was convenient and safe for the kids to ride bikes back and forth. Enjoyed the stay. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen table could be more substantial (a little wobbly) but otherwise a great place for couples or family with older children. Note that it has a spiral staircase that may be hard to navigate for some.

We have been vacationing in Sea Pines for over twenty years and have loved it! One day on a bike ride we just happened upon Deer Island and couldn't believe these unique Sea Lofts were tucked away like a secret. Every time we visited Sea Pines we made sure to make a stop on Deer Island and dream about the day when one could be ours. We fell in love with how secluded and private Deer Island is, yet, five minutes away is the fun atmosphere of Harbour Town with all of the family activities it has to offer.
This is really a dream come true and we are excited to share it with others!
