About this property

Mountain View Lodge at Sunday River

Greetings! Located just 1.1 miles from Sunday River, enjoy views of the slopes from the dinner table as you recount the day's adventures. A massive cooks kitchen for those that like to cook, or cocktail, or just relax on the couch. Plus plenty of room for the kiddos, many families give the kids their own floor downstairs while the parents relax upstairs. Enjoy your morning coffee staring up at the mountains from the the living room which features soaring ceilings & leather couches. Get your groove on with our Sonos whole home audio system and finish the day outside in the hot tub.

Après-ski at The Matterhorn Ski Bar and walk back home! They are right next door and were the original owners of our house which is partly why the kitchen is the centerpiece of the home.

Hey gang, we live close to Boston but also spend a lot of time in Maine. By day I work at an ad agency in Boston with a bunch of super smart & fantastic folks. When I'm not at work you will find me running, skiing, occasionally trying to surf, listening to or playing music, woodworking, or reading to my kids. Which I will keep doing. No matter how old they are.

We bought this house as a place for the family to come together away from the hustle and bustle of work and school and home. I had my own great childhood memories of family ski trips - the snow, the adventure of the slopes, the pizza nights, the time with parents and friends, etc - and wanted to make some new ones with my own family when my daughters were small. Mission accomplished, we've had great times here over the years with parents coming up from NY, my sister and her gang making the long drive from Philadelphia, or just me and my knucklehead group of college and high school friends. And we're still at it.

I love hearing from my guests about what a great time they had with their own friends and family on Starwood Drive. Truthfully, I started hosting as a way to ensure we could afford the house, but it's been much more rewarding than I expected - being able to help others make some of their own great memories.

Looking forward to hosting you.
