We had a marvelous 14 Day stay. The cottage was authentic and remarkeble cool. We had 35-40 outside, inside between 25-28 degrees. The cottage was well equiped. We did not miss any thing in the kitchen, rooms and outside.Communication with the host was very good. He replied very fast when We had a question.When you looking for a quiet place with great vieuw from your terras this is the place.Gerda and Bert

Perfect location for peace and quite

Me and my wife spent a week in this amazing please (1st week of October2023, perfect weather). If you look for peace and quiet and a magnificent views from the terrace , this is the place. Ideal location for exploring nearby villages and gorging on local organic food and wines.

Beautiful country house

Stunning cottage in tranquil, beautiful area.

We spent a wonderful week in this delightful house, which has everything you could need for a perfect holiday. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting numerous other historical towns and villages. There are so many interesting places to visit a week is not really enough time. We will definitely be returning. Jean-Paul was the perfect host and was kind enough to meet us at the nearest town to guide us to the cottage.

Beautiful property. Beautiful views

The sound of cow bells from the terrace is so relaxing. The views are terrific. Visited old haunts like Cordes and Albi and new ones Rocamadour and Najac. Had a great holiday in a lovely house. Jean Paul met us in St Andre de Najac, very easy place to meet and he led us to the house. Very helpful and friendly. Thanks JP

Aveyron, Occitaine, and Najac regions of France - Nord Midi-Pyrenes

This property was beyond all our expectations. Charming and beautifully appointed countryside home. Every detail was taken care of. Jean-Paul was excellent host! Original stone walls, beautiful hardwood floors and most comfortable beds. French doors on every turn with views you cannot imagine. I loved the kitchen so much that we decided to have evening meals at the home. The "marshe" at La Fouillade just a few miles away had farm to table galour! The History in this area is unbelievable.

Excellent Property

La Boudarie is an excellent property in a lovely location. The house is cosy but cool in hot spells. The kitchen well equipped and shower room modern. The house has both a spacious patio, separate balcony and shady garden, so lots of places to sit outdoors as the sun moves round. And the outside dining table is a great space to eat and lounge. There’s no amenities within walking distance but the supermarket, patisserie and butchers at La Fouillard is only 5 minutes drive away. The local Relais has a good restaurant. And plenty to visit at Varen, St Antonin, Villefranche abd Najac. A great stay with very helpful hosts

A month in the countryside

The house was charming, beautifully decorated and felt like a home not just a house. It was set on a hillside overlooking the rolling hills and fields of a beautiful rural landscape. Our host Jean-Paul was always available by text and responded immediately to our questions and requests. He met us when we first arrived and explained everything about the house and then drove us to the local village to show us where to get groceries and fuel for the car. We really enjoyed our month there, visiting the medieval villages, chateaux and abbeys.There was so much to see, and at the end of a day of sight-seeing, we had a lovely home to come back to. Thank you for that Jean-Paul!

Beautiful, character filled stone cottage in an idyllic location

Jean-Paul’s cottage is absolutely charming and looks exactly like the photos - we loved the week we spent there. Everything we needed was provided and the location is idyllic. We especially loved the peace and tranquillity and the stunning views from the terrace across the countryside towards the village. As for Jean-Paul, he is a wonderful host. He was there to meet us the day we arrived and took the time to explain everything to us. He really did make us feel very welcome and we appreciated his attention to detail. Communication was prompt and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend Jean-Paul’s cottage to anyone who is planning a sojourn to the French countryside. Merci beaucoup, Jean-Paul, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Lovely house away from it all.

The house was exactly as we expected from the Vrbo site. It was in a lovely quiet setting, although not too far for a good Intermarche and a couple of local bakeries. The house itself is comfortable and very attractive with lovely terraces to sit out and enjoy the views of the fields and hills. We saw the most amazing bird life while we were there, including a golden Eagle.House itself was very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied so we were able to prepare simple evening meals and relax. This is particularly valuable as we were there during a very hot period. Jean-Paul, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful both before our stay and meeting us to escort us to the property on our arrival. We would love to return as it’s a beautiful area of France and the house made an excellent base for visiting the local Bastides and beautiful villages, castles et cetera. You do need a car but the roads in the area, certainly in June, were quiet and really delightful. Strongly recommended for anyone wanting a get away from it all rural holiday.

Mon fils et moi-même avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cet écrin de verdure. Nous sommes venus chercher le calme et la nature, nous n'avons pas été déçus.Accueil parfait par le propriétaire. La maison est totalement conforme à l'annonce: grande, très bien équipée, et surtout, le cadre magnifique avec pour seuls voisins biches et chevreuils. Une belle maison aveyronnaise pour des vacances au top !

La maison est belle et très agréable à vivre : au calme, en pleine nature, spacieuse, bien aménagée et bien décorée. On s'y sent vite chez soi ! La vue de la terrasse est magnifique et les murs épais maintiennent une température agréable en été. La maison est également très bien située : baignade en rivière à côté, kayak, randonnées à pied sur des sentiers très bien balisés, accrobranche, balades à cheval, villages médiévaux très jolis... Bref, beaucoup d'activités pour tous. Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos vacances ! Merci à Mr Catel-Zanca et à Mme Le Tinnier pour leur accueil !

Maison de vacances idéale en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, le cadre est magnifique , un lieu très calme en pleine nature avec une vue splendide depuis une grande et agreable terrasse . La maison est très bien équipée, confortable et joliment décorée. Les commerces sont à 10mn en voiture. La region est très belle et nous recommandons ce lieu, ideal pour des vacances "nature".

Accueil excellent

Excellent accueil de Jean Paul et Sandrine. Location très bien située pour la pratique des activités extérieures et les visites culturelles. Il n’y manque rien au niveau intendance. Elle offre confort et calme au milieu de la campagne, ce qui est appréciable après une journée de canoë sur l’Aveyron ou la visite d’Albi par exemple. Les abords de la rivière Le Viaur, non loin de la location, offrent aussi des espaces pour la randonnée, l’escalade et la baignade. Nous avons passé un très très bon séjour 😃😃

Maison agréable, au calme et avec une jolie vue sur la nature

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette belle maison bien équipée, localisée au bout d’un chemin et offrant de fait le calme et une vue dégagée sur la campagne. La région aux alentours est magnifique, tant en termes de nature que de villes, villages et lieux chargés d’histoire à visiter. La gastronomie est également au rendez-vous pour les amateurs de bonne chaire: fromages, charcuterie et vins de région valent le déplacement. Monsieur Zanca a toujours été disponible et très cordial. Je recommande cette location, vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance, aucune mauvaise surprise.

vacances en Aveyron

La maison de M Castel-Zanca est superbe et idéale pour déconnecter. Elle est entourée de bois et champs aucun bruit parasite mais proche de villages pour faire les achats courants. La région est top, très vallonnée, il y a de magnifiques villages à visiter et de belles randonnées à faire. Nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer M Castel-Zanca qui est très sympathique. Ce séjour fût très agréable.
