We had a marvellous two weeks here. The house was spacious and full of character; the views were superb; the pool was a wonderful refuge on scorching afternoons. We saw a deer behind the house on one day, and lots of birds and butterflies. The house manager was particularly friendly and helpful, and it was really hard to tear ourselves away.

Peaceful and Scenic

The property is exactly as described, although I must add that the pictures do not do the location justice. The owner communicated frequently and well, and the local property manager is an absolute jewel in addition to being an incredible source of knowledge. The house is located on a windswept ridge overlooking the confluence of two valleys below. The view is exceptional, and gives the constant feeling of living in a postcard. The accommodations were more than adequate for our family of six, though guests with mobility issues may find the interior stairs challenging. The house is well furnished and well maintained, and is quite comfortable during both warmer and colder periods. The surrounding area is almost unbelievably picturesque, with many of the local villages having won awards for their beauty and charm. The culture is hospitable, the countryside charming, and the local cuisine exquisite with many and varied options within easy driving distance. I agree with other reviewers who note that a car is necessary due to the location, but this is truly a benefit rather than a burden as it will allow you to travel around the region visiting the numerous cultural, recreational, and historical sites that dot the region. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with our experience and only wish that we could have stayed longer. If undisturbed relaxation and stunning vistas are priorities for your next vacation stay, this property is an outstanding choice.

Le moulin est une vieille bâtisse atypique située à 20 minutes de Saint Antonin du Val au bout d'un chemin... Isolement et tranquillité assurés ! La piscine est immense. Nous avons passé d'agréables moments en famille.

Grande maison rustique, bien équipée et bien agencée. Certaines parties mériteraient quelques rafraîchissements. On s'en accommode parfaitement grâce à l'extérieur : la piscine est vraiment grande, comme le terrain, l'équipement extérieur est complet (transats, chaises longues, tables pour déjeuner / dîner, ping-pong...). Le calme est absolu et la vue est exceptionnelle ! Nous avons eu le calme et le repos que nous cherchions!

Déconnection totale dans cette superbe maison

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Perch du Fournel. La communication avec le propriétaire Mike s'est très bien passée et il a été à l'écoute lors de nos diverses questions en amont du séjour et nos demandes/questions pendant le séjour. Nous avons été bien accueillis par des amis à eux lors de notre arrivée. Ils nous ont donné de nombreuses recommandations d'activités/lieux à visiter/restaurants que nous avons suivi et adoré! La location est une belle et grande maison de campagne fonctionnelle parfaite pour une semaine au vert. Cuisine équipée avec ce qu'il faut pour des vacances, literie très confortable et salles de bains convenables. Très grande piscine avec de nombreux transats, nous avons pu profiter du super beau temps ! Table de jardin, table de ping pong et barbecue sont à disposition pour profiter de l'été. Je recommande chaudement cette location si vous souhaitez être au calme entourés de nature :)

Un petit coin de paradis !

Nous avons passé 2 semaines excellentes dans la belle maison de Mike et Caralyn. La piscine est magnifique et la vue à couper le souffle. Beautiful house set in large grounds. Pool was a great size and lots of fun had by all! The area was peaceful and beautiful and my children loved meeting the odd cow on the road to the house. Would definitely visit again
