The Coach House offers a peaceful countryside retreat for families, couples and friends looking to relax, explore and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Sleeping arrangements: Sleeps up to 8 guests, with three king-size beds, additional sofa beds, a single day bed and a Z-bed.

Please note that there are two external steps at the main entrance, and all bedrooms are located on the upper floors.

Featuring a relaxing whirlpool spa bath, a cosy wood-burning stove and approximately three acres of grounds to explore, the cottage provides an ideal base for families, couples and friends seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The friendly owners live on-site and take pride in making guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay. The cottage offers a selection of pillows, dressing gowns and slippers, together with a range of toys and games for children.

For an additional charge, guests may request locally produced treats, including freshly pressed apple juice, homemade bread, preserves, cakes and fresh eggs, subject to availability.

The extensive grounds provide a lovely setting for a leisurely stroll, relaxing outdoors or spending time near the chickens. A shallow stream runs through the grounds, adding to the rural charm of the surroundings.

The area is popular with outdoor enthusiasts, with the renowned Sandstone Trail accessible from the neighbouring area of Duckington. The trail offers wonderful opportunities to discover the Cheshire countryside on foot.

Property description
This luxurious Grade II listed cottage can be found surrounded by unspoilt farmland and the rolling countryside of beautiful rural Cheshire. Boasting a Jacuzzi spa bath and 3 acres of stunning grounds to explore, it makes the perfect base for families, friends and couples looking for a peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The friendly and approachable owners live onsite, and have really gone the extra mile to make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. You’ll find a selection of pillows to choose from, dressing gowns and slippers for each guest and an each bedroom with TV with a DVD player for children within the party. They press their own apple juice which can even be supplied with homemade bread, preserves, cakes and fresh eggs upon request (charges apply).

The extensive grounds which have a shallow stream trickling through make a lovely space to stretch your legs or simply relax and spend time with the chickens. The immediate area is very popular with outdoor enthusiasts and one of Julia Bradbury’s top 100 walks ‘the Sandstone Trail’ can be picked up in neighbouring Duckington.
Tilston village is just 1 mile down the road and home to a local playground, a food serving pub and a beautifully quaint village shop. The thriving village of Malpas with its bustling high street is a mere 5-minute drive, and a 10-minute drive will take you to nearby Carden Park luxury country estate, which has spa and leisure facilities together with two championship golf courses.
The respective castles of Beeston, Peckforton and Cholmondeley are all easily accessible in around a 15 – 20 minutes’ drive and the historic walled city of Chester in around half an hour. Oulton Park motor racing circuit is also around 30 minutes away and the stunning Welsh Mountains and beautiful Wirral Peninsula can be reached in around an hour.
