Wonderful experience

The property has a beautiful location just minutes walk to the beach and local pubs. There is everything you might need during your stay, even a washing machine, which came handy with two under 5s. The apartment has a nice, cosy feel. We enjoyed visiting the Hartlepool area very much and I regret that we couldn't stay for another week.

Breath taking

Honestly where do I start? This was the cutest little gem located right where you can see the ocean. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything you need. The host has thought of everything, spices, snacks, drinks, coffee machine, toiletries, books, DVDs, cleaning products, iron, hoover, dishwasher, pots, pans, all cooking utensils possible. The list goes on. Then the actual place was decorated sooo nicely with cute little oranaments, frames, such lovely homely touches. Our kids even said they preferred the holiday home to our house back home LOL. Not to mention the beautiful beach and area surrounding was so lovely. We are definitely coming back. We just kept getting surprises from the place finding cute things that the host accommodated for her guests. Activities are a 30 minute drive away in different areas such as South Shields, Sunderland, Durham which we had loads of fun. And a very lovely children’s farm only a 12 minutes away. Would recommend this to couples, families, friends, anyone.

Why they chose this property

Welcome to my holiday home. Located on Hartlepool Headland, full of history and the home of Heugh Battery Artillery Museum, the only WW1 battlefield site in England. Perfect for birdwatching, sea fishing and local pubs, there are Tennis Courts and a small play park a short walk away. With excellent road and railway links for nearby towns, it makes a great starting point to many areas or stay closer and see local landmarks and the Royal Naval Museum with HMS Trincomalee, Europe's oldest floating warship.
