We’ve stayed at these cottages twice now and had a lovely stay both times.

We’ve stayed at these cottages twice now and had a lovely stay both times.We are a family of four, with 2 small children and the cottage has all the equipment we need. The rooms are warm and cosy, lovely views out over the fields with llamas and plenty of wildlife to watch. Jean, the owner is very accommodating and always happy to help.

Wonderful Durham cottage

Our stay over Christmas in the beautiful Kestral cottage was superb. Jean and Amy made us feel very welcome and went 'above & beyond' to make our stay perfect. The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and was spotlessly clean. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a quiet break in County Durham. Say hi to the llamas!

Absolutely top notchA credit to Jean and Family. Very good amenities. Wet room and all ground access great for those with less mobility. Secure though a gated fence, all tarmac driveway which isn’t always the case in rural locations. Llamas !!Great south facing terrace. Will stay again.

Fabulous property. Very well equipped. very very clean.Ideal for a wheelchair user, has excellent wet room. Lovely outside area with table chairs and sun beds a great addition.The host a lovely lady very welcoming.Would recommend
