We loved our stay at Elmer and Ruby’s! Everything was amazing and I mean everything. From the big things to the smallest detail, it was all perfect. I didn't want to leave, but definitely look forward to going back again.

This is a very amazing place everything was perfect. The house the landscaping both were very beautiful. The fall season decorations were perfect. And we really enjoyed the pavilion with the fireplace.

Stoneybrook was a wonderful rendezvous location for our group of 5 from 3 different states. We enjoyed the covered pavilion, especially when it was rainy. Cooking together in the well-stocked kitchen was a pleasure.Everything was very clean and comfortable.Elmer was a great host and easy to communicate with.

We had the most magical wedding weekend at the Cottage! It was impeccably clean, the hosts added sweet touches for our wedding, and it was even more beautiful than we expected. The gazebo in the woods was a fun surprise to find, too! The house was stocked with everything you could ever want/need for a lovely comfortable stay! We will surely be back! Thank you!

It’s my second time staying at Elmer’s place in the woods. And it’s probably not going to be our last either. Perfect location outside of town, close to hiking trails and Asheville. Thoroughly enjoy our stay every time. Already looking forward to planning my next trip to explore more of the area in the near future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house and all the grounds were so clean, neat, and well stocked. It seemed everything we had forgotten to bring, Elmer and Ruby had at the house! We so much enjoyed sitting in the outdoor spaces and listening to the creek and looking at all the flowers. Elmer and Ruby made sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was as perfect as can be! Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

The house and grounds are so beautiful. The hosts thought of all the little things to make the stay delightful, from lovely Holiday decorations to a hot chocolate station. The kitchen has all the tools you might need to make a nice dinner. Amazing place. Hope we get to stay again!!!

I cannot praise this property and its owners highly enough. We've stayed with them multiple times and it's starting to feel like Home, and they are like Family at this point! Beautiful gathering location - very well maintained!

We really loved the location and the ability to mountain bike right from the cabin. The cabin is seasonally decorated making it even more special and the property is exceptionally well cared for.
