A much-deserved relaxing getaway awaits. Welcome to “A Wine Down”, where your comfort is first in line. A family friendly rental designed to guarantee the ability to relax from the cozy couches in front of the gas fireplace and large screen TV, the extra-large farm style table custom built for everyone to fit around the table. Take time to enjoy each other’s company and share stories around the dinner table. The open kitchen features beautiful cabinetry, stainless appliances and stunning counter tops.

Nothing beats a cup of coffee in a screened in porch on a porch swing. Bring the evening gathering outside to the largest back yard in all of Beachwalk Resort. Plenty of room for yard games and good times. A firepit awaits!

4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

A Wine Down rents for a 3 night minimum with check-in and check-out on Wednesday or Saturday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

The Purple House

We had a wonderful time at the Purple House at Beach Walk Resort. The house was very nicely equipped and located well. We enjoyed the pool and the access to Lake Michigan. We had a wonderful time and intend to return for a longer stay next summer.

The house was clean, had all of the amenities promised, and was ready at our check in time. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, as well as beach chairs and a cooler. The bedrooms were roomy, all had closets with plenty of hangers.

Reviewer Comments: The house was so clean, decorated so neatly and had everything we needed! 6 adults and 1 child was on the vacation and we had plenty of room! We made all our meals at the house during our stay and had all the dishes/ cookware at the house we needed. We grilled out 2 evenings and even made a fire to roast smores one night. Highly recommend this rental and location!!! We had a half mile to walk to the beach. Also while there we used the pool, kayaks, shuffleboard, Boca ball game and played pickle ball. The staff were all amazing /and helpful!!

Wonderful home and community! We will be back!

The house is beautiful, located on a cul-de-sac. We spent much time on the screened porch and walked everywhere. While the ad may mention renting a golf cart, it's not available at this time. I'm hopeful that will change next year with more availability. The only people who had them were renters whose homes came with them. We had 2 issues with the home that weren't resolved during our stay- 1) the outside shower didn't work and 2) the water dispenser in the fridge didn't work. The 2nd was no big deal but the first made it hard to properly rinse after a day in the sand. This home is well cared for I appreciated the additional dish soap, laundry soap, etc... The community is simply magical and worth visiting. I had no idea and the pictures didn't do it justice. For me it's Cape May meets Key West. We've already booked for next year (another house).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a nice time at Beachwalk Resorts! The house was beautiful and very clean and organized when we arrived! It was the perfect space for my family of four and my parents! The house was well stocked which made cooking easy! We had our groceries delivered from a close by Walmart and that was very convenient! The house came with great beach chairs and we used them daily. The beach and all the amenities were within close range. I would suggest renting a golf cart before you get there. This house doesn’t come with one and it would have been very handy! The only downfall was that on our last night while we were enjoying our time on the porch, the owners were next door and interrupted us to ask how we liked the house. It was a little hard to enjoy the place knowing the owners were right next door. It was a little unnerving and awkward.

Wonderful House with Everything One Could Need

My family really enjoyed the open floor concept of the house. Everything was clean there were beach toys and chairs for use. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the balcony, the back porch, and the fire pit area. The community has so many amenities available most of which are included in your stay. We enjoyed the concert in the park on Saturday. The beach is beautiful. Definitely coming back next year!

The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We also liked that it wasn’t on the main drag but still a close walk to the beach.Only recommendation I would make the management is to have more storage space on the first floor. Almost every closet and cabinet is full so it’s hard to have space to put away groceries that don’t belong in the fridge.

Perfect house for our family!

This house was wonderful for our family. Very clean and kitchen was equipped for cooking meals. There were sand toys, a wagon and chairs for the beach. Only minor complaint was that the smoke detectors were very sensitive and went off almost every time we cooked. And the pool was closed 2 of the days so that was unfortunate. But we went to the beach instead so that was ok!
