Extra hand soap and laundry pods for an extra stay. The ceiling fans are a bit wobbly, may need new screws.

Location was perfect. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, markets, etc. within short walking distance. La Pedrera and Casa Batillo were 10-12 mins away. Apartment was spacious and clean. Only complaint is not being notified ahead of time that the water was shutoff for 6 hours for scheduled city maintenance. Despite this, still enjoyed the apt enough to give it 5 stars overall.

Property owner was great to deal with and allowed us to check in early, which was very convenient for us. Very spacious and great spot for a family. Fantastic Russian restaurant down the street with the best food we had in Barcelona during our 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we only found it our last night there.

Great Apartment and Location!

My friends and I stayed at this apartment for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was perfect! Great location, spacious and awesome balconies! The communication with the host was also easy as well as the check-in process. Would love to stay here again!

Sewer smell in one of bathrooms which by end of the week permeated the entire apartment. The washer's spin and dryer cycles did not work. Landlord uncooperative in allowing us to store luggage in building a few hours.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that parts of your stay did not meet your expectations. That said, we would like to clarify that none of the issues mentioned were brought to our attention during your stay, which meant we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to investigate or address them in real time. We always encourage guests to contact us immediately so we can help resolve any concerns as quickly as possible. Regarding luggage storage, the apartment was fully available to you after the official check-in time, and a staff member was present to welcome you on arrival. We were not aware of any request or issue related to storing luggage, and we would have been happy to assist had it been communicated to us. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure a comfortable experience for all our guests.

Great location, responsive host

Unit in secure building with elevator. Centrally located. Minimal street noise. Host responded quickly to requests. Of note, no AC, might be a problem in summer.

Great location - near restaurants and shops - fantastic for all of us. Walkable and safe. Not a lot of extras. The toilet was broken - they took care of it right away, which was good. TV also did not work. Towel heaters in bathrooms were lovely, and the beds were comfy. Small bathrooms could use a shelf. Overall I would recommend and you will be comfortable.

Lovely and spacious!

We had a dance company of seven people staying here, and with the four bedrooms and two family rooms (with pullout couches) we only had two people that had to share rooms! Add in four bathrooms and this was VERY comfortable. Not to mention that the Eixample area has it all: great restaurants and bars, proximity to almost everything BCN has to offer and enough away from the Rambla that it isn't noisy when you sleep! Finally, for any LGBTQIA+ travelers, note that this is THE queer neighborhood of Barcelona!

Great location but poor maintenance of this older property meant a profoundly disappointing stay. Would not stay here again or recommend it to others. The sewer gas stench when we arrived was awful and we could not even use in of the rooms in the beginning. Rental company were dismissive calling it temporary. technician next day said filters in drainage system the issue but would need a plumber. No plumber came during our stay. Plus issues with faulty kitchen equipment and on its last legs crazy noisy washing machine.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you appreciated the location, but we’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the odor you experienced, we understand how unpleasant this can be. As soon as it was reported, a technician was sent the following day to assess the situation. Following your stay, we carried out the necessary follow-up, and the issue has since been resolved. Concerning the kitchen equipment and washing machine, we were not informed of these issues during your stay. Had we been made aware, we would have arranged for our team to inspect and address them promptly, as we always aim to assist our guests in real time. We take all feedback seriously and appreciate you bringing these points to our attention.

Great location, disappointing accommodations

This was the perfect sized apartment for two families--a total of 9 people. The space is essentially two apartments mirroring each other. With this many people, the number of bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was wonderful! But the overall cleanliness of the apartment was very disappointing. At check-in the apartment had been cleaned, but it felt like it was just a surface cleaning. The linens were obviously changed, but the bathrooms, kitchens, and floors didn't seem thoroughly cleaned, and all bathrooms had an intense sewer smell. Additionally, throughout the apartment many walls were dirty, showing scuff marks and stains, and there were many items needing repair--a broken lamp in one of the living rooms, a taped-up window in one of the bedrooms, a shelf missing in one of the refrigerators, a non-working television cable, to name a few. Although the apartment is spacious and located in an amazing neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, bars, markets, pharmacies, etc., for the price you are paying to stay here, it would only seem reasonable that the apartment is in great shape, and this one was not. That being said, communication with the host/management was great from start to finish, which was always appreciated. I would absolutely recommend staying in this apartment, if it is cleaned up and repaired.
