The saving grace to this clean, but tired and cob-webby apartment is the three minute walk to the beach, the decent food at the hole-in-the-walls on Mission Blvd., the easy walk to Belmont Park--which is pretty fun even/especially without kids--and again, the beach, the ocean, the fire pit parties on the beach. It's a great location. The only true downfall was how hot it was at night in the apt. without AC during July. They provided fans, but it didn't really do the trick.

Thank you for your review. This apartment has been updated to modern expectations. Kitchen with granite counter and new cabinets. Stove and frig are just a few years old. Lovely French doors in kitchen and living area. The bathroom is very nice with large glass sliding door shower with very nice modern large tile walls and wainscot. High dining table/stools, newer mattress and futon sofa. The only "tired" thing may be the wall of knotty pine and slider closet doors. I would love to know what you feel is "tired". Where did you see a cobweb? Will notify cleaners to search for any.

The studio was very clean and the permanent neighbors in the building are very kind. The place is comfortable with big windows that open to let in lots of air. Unfortunately with the air comes lots of street noise so if you’re a light sleeper this is a challenge. The place is great for two and the Murphy bed set up makes it nice for hanging out in the daytime to get out of the sun. There’s also a small front porch looking out to the street. The location is convenient to a few casual eateries and coffee shops with a short walk to the Belmont park area. All in all we enjoyed our stay but it was definitely loud.

Location is as advertised. Awesome. The only downside is the airplane noise. If you are a light sleeper and or want to sleep in, this place might be a problem. Starting around 6:30am to 7:30 am, there are about 26 planes that fly over the property. Half of them are very loud.

Nice Little Spot

Location was great! It was exactly what we were looking for, short walk to the beach, store, coffee shop and Belmont park wasn't a bad walk either. I had concerns with cleanliness based on past reviews but it wasn't bad. They rely on the guests to clean up after themselves so my only concern would be trusting someone washed dishes as well as I do LOL Bathroom was nice and clean. Floors could have been cleaned better with dust under chairs and along the walls but didn't bother us. Being a beach house, it's going to be hard to keep floors spotless anyways. Check in/out was simple and the area is quiet, clean and overall, we would stay here again!
