An idyllic location with the forest on your door step.
An idyllic location with the forest on your door step. The lodge is clean, bright, airy and cosy. Fantastic weekend with a trip into Alton and and a walk around their local craft fair which happens once a month. Our timing was perfect. If you like craft fairs selling local produce and stalls selling hand made crafts this is well worth a visit, just check dates that the fair is on. We only stayed for the weekend but would highly recommend staying here and enjoying all the things that are on offer in the vicinity.
