We had a wonderful stay at Stable Yard Cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Stable Yard Cottage. It was a unique, special place to stay. The beds are comfy and it has all the mod cons you need. The manager was very responsive and looked after us. It is in a great location with access to gorgeous walks straight from the village. The museum itself is fascinating and well worth a visit.

8/10 Good

We had a lovely stay at this cottage.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very comfortable and generally well equipped (except no hand soap but we were given some when we asked). The gardens are lovely to explore after the museum shuts and we also really enjoyed visiting the museum and cafe. There are some board games in the cottage which we enjoyed playing It was a good base to explore HampshireThough you need to drive to get to supermarkets. There is one pub in walking distance that does food. The staff who worked at the museum and managed the cottage were friendly and helpful. We would recommend staying here!

Excellent base for exploring Hampshire's Hills

It was furnished and equipped to a high standard. During the day you share the gardens with the visitors to the museum but in the evenings you have it all to yourself.
