Perfect Shepherds Hut

A lovely stay, well equipped with everything we needed, the place was clean and more spacious than it looks. Janet and Grant were very helpful when we needed them and recommended us some nice places to visit! Overall a really nice place to stay.

A perfect getaway

The shepherds hut is in the perfect location on the grounds of its friendly owners. There were lots of places to explore based out from there. Grant and Jan also had lots of useful information to help enhance our visit.

The Shepherds Hut was better than I ever imagined as a place to stay. Totally self contained but with help available if you needed it. Grant and Janet are the most perfect hosts. I would not hesitate to go back again.

Lovely Shepherd's cabin

The cabin was so elegantly designed, and beautiful, including a sweet whimsy: little Starlights above the bed! Very comfortable bed, great shower, cozy and well appointed. It had a pocket meadow in front, as a shepherd's hut would, the sheep next door baaed cheerfully. Janet has the Most Beautiful Rose garden, and a lovely White garden-- best of both gardening worlds! Janet is charming and caring. It was a lovely place to stay, so close to Great Dixter Gardens!

Cute shepherds hut as described. Self check in and out with no issues. Host never responded when leaving regarding certain instructions and relaying info on a damaged fire pit. Would recommend.

Romantic getaway.

We had such a lovely stay at the shepherds hut. Was a special birthday gift to me from my husband. It is so snug and cosy. It is beautifully decorated. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. Janet and Grant are lovely hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Of course we couldn’t forget the oh so cute doggies! They came running to see us every morning. Even sitting with my husband on the steps. We would 100% come again and would definitely recommend staying there to anyone. Thank you.

Super gemütlicher, ausgebauter Schäferwagen mit allem Komfort. Sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Wagen steht in der Ecke eines weitläufigen Grundstücks. Die Vermieter sind auch sehr nett und die Hunde und Meerschweinchen auf dem Gelände auch toll. Ein großer Garten mit Apfelbäumen gehört auch dazu. Sehr empfehlenswert.
